Sack up and play the gig. Your drummer's mom won't notice anyway.

Can someone explain to me why with three guitarists.. I have to now play the bass part like a rhythm guitar on a song that before what I was doing was fine :picard: And why is it that the other bassist they use gets to fuck around, not even playing in time or even the same song.. now I can appreciate that I'm the one that gets used for important shows [paying... most of the time...] but this blues thing is starting to wear on me.. I guess I'm thankful that this isn't a all the time thing... otherwise I think I'd lose it :grumpy:

It was still a good rehearsal, but I didn't need the main guitarist making listen to him plunk on my bass [trying to find D,A,E on it...] to show me I need to play more syncopated.. so he wants me to play like Bo Diddly on a dirge.. ok them...

Due to some truly misdirected trust and honestly, a lack of forethought on my part, my violin, Persephone, took a fall. Not much happened, the bridge was knocked out of place and the tinest crack seems to have appeared near the base of the neck. However, I can't play her as I don't want to make the damage worse, or set the bridge wrong. Tuesday is when my luthier opens up shop again, which means between now and then, I can't even look at the case.

I'm not even pissed, just kinda sad.

Tell 'em to fuck off. You're a band, if you don't try things, you never know what might be awesome. Take exception to the other bass players wanking or get him to play the parts you don't want to. Give and take brother, give and take.

Easy, none of them can play in time and all three of them need to play lead/solo.

Nobody in any of my classes so far uses a laptop to take notes, so everyone thinks I'm watching porn or something in class. While this is true, get with the times people!

Obviously play some sort of fast paced first person shooter so they hate you for making clicking noises.

Seriously, I just type out random stuff just so they have to listen to me type. Someone tried to combat that with their incessant pen clicking, but I think I can win

Sick of this guy on facebook who is in the military and constantly rags on Obama. Even posting that joke of him getting thrown out of a plane. Wish I could send that to his CO to get in some heat.
