So my orange just stopped working. I was kinda cranking it and it just failed and now no signal is coming out. Two power tubes aren't coming on it looks like or at least they aren't lighting up like the other two. Gaddamn it, I felt like cranking it to the max and it just dies. Lameeee, hopefully it's nothing serious, nothing smells like it's smoking.
UPDATE: this is weird, two of the power tubs that weren't lighting had that plastic part at the bottom just break off. I pulled off the power tube and it just wasn't attached. I wonder if it's the culprit. Guess I gotta buy some new el34
Super Update while this thread ain't getting posts: Two broken el34 I was able to remove the little plastic pieces although one of them fell into the amp, I need to take it out just in case. One fuse has dark spots so need to change. Possibly messed around by mistake and let two of the el34's to break without me noticing, it probably ran fine because I wasn't pushing it but the second I pushed it, the fuse couldn't handle the voltage and thus blew.
Update three: I guess the amp shouldn't be able to turn on with a bad fuse. Damn, mine powers on, it just won't pass sound. Two tubes were broken, but I should be able to run it as an or80. I don't know what's up though. Sad I can't go see my tech till tuesday.
