Yeah, all the public tracks on that account is a couple years old though (i.e. none of it is modular).

so, Jove just got here. it is so GOOD. i get why peoples loooooooove it. just sounds wonderful.
was wondering though, in the LP24 and LP12 modes, it's a bit quieter than the input signal dry. mines is a DIY build, is that normal?

I got mine sitting at home, probably the same builder. I'll let you know if mine behaves the same when I rack it up tonight.

niiiiiice. ZZ Ardoz Muffer Dooder? he seems super nice and it's a very pretty build. i actually WAY prefer the gold over the red lines.
not.... a fan.... of red.
i know there's perceived and actual volume loss when you're fucking around with frequencies. just seems a bit quieter in those 2 then most filters do.
jia. be pimp to know if yours is the same. thanks meng!

Yeah, same builder, & yeah, the output is much quieter than the input signal. The output gets even more quite when I turn the resonance up, which is unexpected. Gonna message him about it.

Dude said the volume loss was consistent with all four builds, and not uncommon in the original filter design. Some quick research on the original seems to match up. I've been spoiled by those hot modular levels it seems.
I do want to trade out my blinds for an intellijel Quad VCA, so the boost switch would help compensate for the volume loss. We shall see.

That's the vca I've been looking at, particularly because of those boost switches.

The Quad VCA is awesome. Thinking about getting a second one actually.

I *should* be getting a Quad VCA today if FedEx doesn't shit the bed again. That boost feature is what sealed me on it.
