Hand is really, REALLY cool! KRPLS is like a Karp that stayed out too late, drank something funny and gained weird superpowers that only manifest when a seagull shits on a child at Venice Beach... like, 80% of it sounds just like the Karp, but it just gets fucking WILD when pushed to the edges (Decay and Pitch, mostly). Sending random related triggers to the TRIG and TYPE inputs = instant glitch beat heaven!

Hopefully get some time to play with it a bit more today... I've heard it does a mean bass, too!

Yea I've been holding off on the KRLPS for a while but every time someone mentions it I want it more. Think I'm just gonna buckle and get one.

For extra fun with a Porta02: my time poking around inside one indicates that disabling the record head(s) is a matter of simply cutting wires and installing switches. Gitcho loop on.

I thought I wanted one too until I tried one at the Tokyo Festival of Modular and decided that it wasn't for me (random glitchy sounds bore me pretty fast). I bought a DPLPG from Mr Meng Qi though and that one is great .

Ordered a shed via home depot that will become my backyard studio in about a month. Getting a Piano and some other stuff to go with it.

Its music related, so it qualifies as gear yea?

Im sure its doable, insulate it, run electricity to it, all that good stuff. Just check your citys building codes. Where I live, 10x10 is the biggest you can go without a permit, which is exactly the size of this thing. Just big enough for my needs. Its gonna be crazy.

Looks like you need a more complicated reverb pedal there, Ruiner. That Liquid Ambience doesn't have enough knobs to hang on that board.
