I decided that I wanted a moderate 8 pedal board with each pedal being a homerun instead of tons of stuff that doesn't excite me. So, RV-3>Fuck Mountain>TAFM>Buzzz>Fuck>Warped Vinyl>Belle Epoch>LF7 LoFi it is, with my Russian Muff, Wolf Computer, and Fingerprint clone in reserve.goroth wrote:Dude, you've gone crazy lately - so many really great purchases!!

Mmmm you're making me look into these. I'm always looking for a compact delay that scratches all my itches.chuckjaywalk wrote:Finally found a Japanese Belle Epoch. The extended delay time is going to make it the perfect delay for my dreampop board.
I'm a really big fan of the Belle Epoch. You probably don't NEED the Japanese one, I've just always wanted the extra 200 mS of delay and the Japanese graphics. Most people prefer the American graphics and 800 mS is plenty of delay. It pairs really well with my Boss reverbs and it loves fuzz before or after. Really flexible and lots of usable sounds.PeteeBee wrote:Mmmm you're making me look into these. Haha I wasn't even looking for a Japanese one until you said this. I didn't realize it had extra time. To me extra times means extra ability to do weird stuff if I want. I don't really like the American graphic, so the other graphic was my main reason for looking. I might just get an American and have it etched. I've never had a pedal done up like that and I really want to.chuckjaywalk wrote: I'm a really big fan of the Belle Epoch. Yeah, the Japanese one has 200 mS more than an actual Echoplex, since they decided it didn't have to be as accurate. I think the red American ones are the same as the Japanese...PeteeBee wrote:Haha I wasn't even looking for a Japanese one until you said this. I didn't realize it had extra time. Optical tremolos sound awesome, and this one looks especially cool!Inconuucl wrote:https://reverb.com/item/1413094-guyatone-ultrem
