What is the technique? Epoxy and glitter? Looks cool anyway.

Hello! Just found this board so thought I would share some of some of my builds and etches. Some really great stuff on here looking through the posts! Recognise a few users from DIYStompboxes on here too

Enclosures are etched using toner transfer and sodium hydroxide for the acid.

Great aesthetics! Where do you get those knobs you have on the harmonic percolator? I have been searching for those for a while now

I want this pedal more than anything. I wouldn't care what it did, it would be on my board forever.

Haha, thanks for the welcome! I'm a big fan of the book so had to do a pedal that was somehow related to it!

Sorry, can post guts if you like, wasn't sure if people would be interested? They're mostly just cable spaghetti!

I always want to see the guts of pedals, I feel like I learn something from every DIY build I see (for better or worse!)
By the way, what's the deal with having an external bias control on a phaser? My phase 45 only works in a fairly limited window, it certainly wouldn't be useful on mine

To be honest that's a question I asked myself once I added it but already had the box etched and drilled so kept it on there!

Definitely a set and forget but didn't really think about that at the time!

Violet Ram's Head Muff with tweaks* I finished last night.
*added mid pot (from Hoof schem), 10uf tantalums on input and output (Pharoah), lowered limiting resistors to 5.1k for more gain (Supercollider), 3 x 2N5089 & 1 x MSPA18 (Pharoah/Supercollider). Tried messing around with various clipping diodes (LEDs/1N4001) but ended up reverting to stock. Also tried putting 2N1308's in Q2 & Q3 (Hoof), like the sound, nice and open more like an overdrive but can't decide whether I like them or the fuzzy saturated higher gain silicons, decisions!

Sorry for the blurry shot, it was late!

I take back my friendly welcome now I realise your posts are just going to make mine look like shit
Anyway, here's a Wampler Triple Wreck clone built without the boost section

This thing is pure nu-metal. I love it, I'm going to go start working on my rapping/ screaming.

Lots of super cool stuff on this page, guys!
Here's a Harmonic Percolator for Evan aka Skullservant

Includes the ubiquitous diode lift switch.
I got all dyslexic when labeling "VOL" and accidentally made it say "LOV" so threw an E at the end and we have "LOVE" yay
It puts some serious lovin on any amp
