Apparently a water mains pipe exploded under a neighboring dorm, which somehow caused a fire and set off all the alarms. Except for some reason the four south dorms all share the same fire alarm system, so the alarm also went off in my room at 3 am. The alarms are break-your-eardrums loud, so you pretty much have no choice but to get out, even if you know the problem isn't in your building. Fire was contained, alarms shut off, I go back to bed, and the alarm goes off a SECOND TIME because the fire containment failed. I want to sleeeeeeep. Also... thanks for sending us back in the first time before you actually put the fire out all the way?

if i knew someone would buy it from me afterwards i'd absolutely buy it right now just to try at least... but those things are tricky

edit: oh... when i look at th price of Fuzz God II it's not THAT cheap... yeah it's blue, but... i'd probably lose quite a few buck even if someone bought it from me afterwards...

isn't that a relief? i was just about to push the button on a Wren and Cuff yesterday on eBay when someone else put the minimum bid on it, and i wasn't willing to go much more. i said "OK, MAKE me not spend money i can't afford to spend anyhow." narrow escape!

i might win an eBay bid i don't particularly want to win all that much anymore...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 500wt_1156if anyone wants to relieve me of this, just pop in a 5 a 0 a . and two more 0s...
on the other hand, it IS a flanger with random LFO, but supposedly its not all that good...
which is another source of modulation... if i knew how to make the effect more pronounced somehow, that'd be rad

Most girls hate being straightforward, especially when they're in the position of having to reject someone. That's why I'm glad that, after years of only knowing rejection, I've gotten really good at picking up the subtle hints that she's not interested. Keeps me from wasting too much time.

I just noticed that this guy...->

...he becomes sad, goes somewhere else and becomes sad again. He just can't win can he?
Some little bitch I work with told my manager I was planning on quitting the day before I was going to put in my two weeks notice(manager was on vacation until yesterday). The worst part is now I really want to unfriend him on facebook in retaliation.
