Btw, I usually sell pedals to people like you - very experienced g.a.s. nerds in the best possible way. I respect you and your knowledge of the pedal world very much and thus do not include any kind of "user manuals" in the packages. I believe it's fun to experience something new and discover everything youself. But if it is uncomfortable for you in any way or brings you trouble, I will make user manuals and post them on the website and put in the packages. I really want to know your opinion, guys. Maybe offer this an option?

I'd say at most just make a manual and upload a PDF of it on the pedal pages. That way you don't have to print paper, and if people ever really want to know what is going on they can look.
I do find myself sometimes looking at manuals to decide if I want to buy a pedal. I don't think it hurts to have one available online at all.

true, manual is important as there is no sign on pedal either...

Wow, those are some big words! And definitely high praise.

from a standpoint of marketing and economic sanity, E&A definitely holds a lot over Seppuku

Hey so I tried using my muff as a volume control, worked quite well! I am still into the regular volume control though. So I can hear the pure tone of the pedal.

Got to push the volume though!
So a question. What kind of expression pedal works with these? I tried two but didn't get anything. But I have a Source Audio Reflex, so I could change what kind of pot is being used.

Was gonna say, there have been a bunch of seppuku pedals I wanted, but all the horror stories kept me at bay. Then along came the tape and the moomindrone and I felt like those really aggressively scratched the itch for those kinds of pedals. Of course, being the weird noise snob I am, the itch is still there, it aleays will be, but the new pedals Polivox has been announcing all sound great.

The current generation of pedals does not have expression pedal capability. The extra plastic jack on some pedals is for an external tap tempo

Ok, all five carpets are finished, need some time for testing and tweaking. A very ridiculous pedal - sometimes noisy, sometimes poppy, sometime really unstable - but so fun to play with. Will probably not ship this week to have some extra time to make sure they'll survive everything and safely ship on Monday.

Got my Moomindrone in today! It's crazy and I have no idea what I'm doing. And pretty noisy, so definitely not for someone wanting pristine sound. Anyone worked out what all the knobs do? Definitely having fun though!
Twist and tweak the knobs! Really even with Alexey's explanation it really doesnt do it justice. I had my Moomindrone for about 1-2 weeks before I finally started getting "it". Alexeys pedals sound awesome and are super interesting no matter the setting however, to tame them it really takes a bit of dedication to sit down with the pedal and fiddle with the knobs. I highly recommend putting a delay behind the moomindrone to get its absolute full potential

Cecil's got his new piece
He cocks and shoots between three and four
He aims it at the Sailor
Shoots him down dead on the floor
Oh, you shouldn't do that
Don't you know you'll stain the carpet
Don't you know you'll stain the carpet
And by the way man, have you got a dollar
Oh no man, I haven't got the time time
Too busy sucking on a ding dong
She's too busy sucking on my ding dong
Oh, she does it just like Sister Ray said
I'm searching for my mainline
I said I couldn't hit it sideways
I couldn't hit it sideways
Oh, just like, just like Sister Ray says

YEah, I've scratched a massive itch (on my ass) by finally nabbing a Kompakt Kassette. I feel I can move on because I'm not too fussed about the rest of the Seppuku stuff, which is pretty lucky. Now I can pay more attention to what's going on in here

I am LOVING my pedals! The more I play with them, the crazier they get! LOL! I love the Moomidrone. That is by far my favorite! I found a really cool delay type sound with it. The Tape is my second favorite. My only regret is not getting them all fully loaded with all the features.

Oh well! I do wish that the Signature had a latching stomp or expression control over the trem, but it's not a huge thing. They are all so cool.
The only thing I noticed is I do in fact have to unplug them almost every time to use them. Which is stated, so no biggie. I wonder if I unplug my board each night if I'd have to do that? I'm also curious what these would sound like with unabused IC's. Are they socketed? Is there any harm in switching them? I would never do it if so. But figured I'd ask!
