The Decolonizer is really fantastic and much more than a high gainer. As mentioned, it will get super aggressive in high gain mode with great clarity and a nice low mid presence so things don't get loose or flubby. The OD mode is more old school Marshall sounding with great gain range that goes from pretty clean to meaner than a JCM800 imo. And the cleans are superb. The filter mod on mine let's it bounce back and forth from Fender or Plexi voicing, really versatile and it LOVES pedals. I've never owned an amp that covers so much ground and sounds so good doing it all. No sacrifices, all modes slay.

Yeah its a bruiser. I think that volume pot is linear so its just incredibly loud at 9:00 on the control. I run it loud too because... well... that's kind of the point of The Heads Are Zeros LOL. Glad you liked it!

Your whole set was crazy awesome! Also one of the most convincing bass tones out of a guitar/baritone that I've ever heard

I have it in my head whoismarykelly was behind Montgomery Appliances? Why is that? Am I wrong?

I knew it!

I miss my old Longtail RAT-inspired pedal. Really good booster for an already overdriven amp. I've not found a better replacement since, which is what I had hoped on doing when I sold it. It never happened.

Oh yeah that pedal was a one off. Very smooth in a way most rats aren't. Figures because it was all MOSFET.

Hey, so anyone wanting to try out the Shiv at a cheaper price, I'm selling mine for $1,250. I actually have Alex's exact model he was playing and is used in all the photos online. I'm just getting a Street Sweeper instead, so this guy's gotta go! All info can be had here, including song clips with the amp!

deposit paid on my mother. Eight to ten weeks til I can tell children not to hear my words, nor what they mean or, of course, say.

Reporting back on the mother with the 2x15 cab. It totally killed at a DIY metal show last weekend. I had plenty of volume to spare with all the low end in the world I wanted. I was competing with two 4x12 guitar cabs and a loud drummer. She did just fine. The head does not need my elements -> rusty box combo to get the gritty tone I want for bass.
