For the 1uF cap you can sub with 470nF film cap, panasonic and that will be fine. Not a huge reduction in bass or anything
Here is the cap recommended on the PCB.
http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/WIM ... RWoDlA8%3dNote, 1uF film caps like the ones on PPP or Mammoth will not fit, they are too wide.

I wanted to iterate a small thing here about this project. I do not believe this will be a problem with anyone but let me just clarify this since I have thought about it just today. This project is for personal use only, not for commercial use. I know that some people are going to build units for people in the doom room or this thread which is totally fine and its totally fine with me if you charge more to cover your time/effort/labor. However please do not use the pcb design I created to make your own units and sell them outside of here. If you want to make and sell your own units then just make a new pcb design. The schematic is open source of course since its just a LBMP scheme adapted for general use.
I would rather not get into a protracted fight over selling units with my pcb so if this looks like the case just contact me ahead of time and we can work it out.

I don't think anyone would want to incur the collective wrath of the doom rooms either.

Nah, it would be a brutal wrath to incur indeed.
I'm just gonna make a couple as Christmas gifts for mates.
I'm assuming that's cool?

Just in case anyone's wondering and for the sake of clarity seeing as I bought four, one is for myself, one for Samzagadan, one for Slomatic and one for a certain other Dunwich fanboy/good friend of mine that doesn't post here. All being done for costs and round about an hour of my time. I'll be very impressed if I can put one of these together in an hour but if I can then I'll charge less than an hour of my time..

Fuck yeah dude, for warmer transparency when you want to play doomzlawyer styles.
Good for covering Sleep's Holy Mountain of Red Tape.

As long as after the mods it's just another tubescrea.... errr, I mean, amp-like and responds to your guitar's volume knob.
