Yeah, I suggested that without thinking of how tough it would be to decide which category someone would win if they won multiple. Probably limiting it to entering one is the easiest thing to do.

So it is:

Full Rig
Board
Guitar
Amp

How about a stupid extra category that invites people to post some bullshit? Like feet or staches or tentacles? Or best other musical device? I'm just thinking about something to make it more ilf.

I had actually been thinking about a builders category for all the DIYers we have here, but and OMD cat sounds like a rad idea. Would definitely be fun seeing all the melodicas.

Cat 1) Full Rig (Amp, Board, and Guitar)
Cat 2) Best Pedal Board (post count 250 and up)
Cat 3) Best Guitar
Cat 4) Best bASS
Cat 5) Best Newb Board? (250 post count and under

Here's other categories we've now discussed:

Cat 6) Best OMD (other musical device)
Cat 7) Best DIY build (would require external and gut shots)



How many categories should we cap it at? Have we even decided whose running this thing?

I'd say make it under 250 / under 6 months. Skully's been here less than a year but all ready has 5k+ posts and is a shark tank builder. My likely hood of letting him in the newb category would be slim to none.

I'm liking where this is going, though with the big boards mixed with the small boards my 3 pedal setup is hopeless

Doing seperate board categories would just be too many though if we're doing all the fun new stuff
