Mastodon - 'The Hunter'/'Crack The Skye'
Charles Mingus - 'Mingus Ah Um'/'Mingus Mingus Mingus'
Opeth - 'Heritage'
Lajkó Félix - 'Koncert '98'
Om - 'Pilgrimage'/'Gebel Berkal'
Miles Davis - 'In A Silent Way'

Due to my listening habits, I tend to put on a cycle of albums I indulge in obsessively for a while. The ones in bold have been commanding all of my attention of late. The ones not in bold likely will be soon.

You have some great taste.

My currents are:
Opeth - Heritage
Mastodon - The Hunter
Omega Massif - Karpatia
Rwake - Rest
Absu - Abzu
Landmine Marathon - Gallows
Skeletonwitch - Forever Abomination
Flourishing - The Sum of All Fossils
Wolves in the Throne Room - Celestial Lineage

By the way, Somnia is awesome :thumb:

Thanks a million man! I appreciate it!

'The Hunter' is pretty killer, altogether, and I enjoyed 'Heritage', though for the reasons outlined in a moment it didn't get enough of a listen. Rwake! I must check that out.

I have to say though, everything I've heard in a long time has been blown away upon getting turned onto Bohren & der Club of Gore. Seriously, incredible, incredible music.
I play.

Checking them out.

I have a feeling you would like:

The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble - From The Stairwell
The Mount Fuji Doomjazz Corporation - Anthropomorphic
Darcy James Argue's Secret Society - Infernal Machines
Fjordne - The Setting Sun
Ólafur Arnalds - ...and they have escaped the weight of darkness
Balmorhea - Constellations

And if you're into Sludge / Doom stuff like you seem to be, check out:

Thou - Summit
Indian - Guiltless
Salome - Terminal

My minds blanking on some things I know I should be listing in with the sludge/doom but all that should be enough to keep you busy a while. :thumb:

I love those records.

:ewok:

Will certainly check out the others you mentioned.

If you check out Bodhren &..., I recommend good speakers/headphones. Their double bass sound shakes my brain.
Ancient Astronaught are a fucking solid sludge band, well worth hearing.
I play.

I love Hella because you have to learn how to rock out to their songs which makes me appreciate their riffs and talent more.
