I think some peoples social ineptitude IRL translates into the same thing on the interwebs. I have a feeling the BOH is probably just as abrasive and opinionated in person.

FWIW,...G is registered on ILF. I've seen him pop in from time to time,...but he may be too busy to lurk.

I've butted heads with him in the past for some infractions I thought were unfair,...I've had one reversed even,..and will admit that some of my infractions are deserved,...but all in all G seems like a good cat. But again,...BOH's comments aren't anything to really loose any sleep over.

I believe that a bassist exist so that the guitarist has an ugly contrast to make himself look better. I mean really, that's all we are. Always trying to measure up in penis size and such. None of us really "know" how to play a real instrument. I mean honestly, bass isn't a real instrument is it. We just hit strings randomly and based on some mathematical equation of some sort, it's musical (sometimes). Adding effects to the mix just covers up our true inability to actually be talented. Right?

I agree with you though,...we are like the redheaded step children of TBFX.

I like that we do have a somewhat loose atmosphere here in ILF and we can vent our gripes with TB,...and I also like that all the drama aside with Devi and whatever else,...there is plenty of forum left where things are going smoothly.

As long as you are in time with the drummer the rest of the band isn’t even listening.
One guitar player is thinking how cool his lead is going to sound, the singer is mentally practicing sexy moves to make during the lead, the other guitar player is thinking “I can play lead better than that ass hole”.
There is no telling what if any thing a keyboard player or drummer is thinking, and you probably don’t want to know.
