Have you ever actually seen somebody click on one of those banner ads that are like a fake pop up window?

Seriously, if you don't know what you're doing with a computer, just surrender it to the youngest person in the room. It should not take 5 minutes to find a video on youtube. A big part of it is that if you're used to using computers you get really good at taking in a bunch of visual stimulus and prioritizing information so that you quickly filter out what's not important.
