I've ended up with far too many OD/distortion pedals. If I have a lot of fuzz pedals (which I do), I can justify it by saying "Well, they all sound different and achieve different sounds. They do different jobs." But my ODs are all slightly different variations of the same thing, especially at low-mid gain settings.

I really like all of them (well, I expect to like the HP). I feel like I should sell the EQD and the mini coz, as much as I think they sound amazing, I don't *need* them and I've spent a bit too much lately. I dunno. Gear dilemmas are a really boring thing to post about, sorry.

I do have a ts9 but I don't like it. I don't get "smooth" overdrive, which is why I'm also trying to flip a WH Pork Loin. I dig super compressed fuzz that ends up kind of "smoove" like a muff or something but "smooth tube-like overdrive" is tonespeak for "bad 80s blues solo sound"

I see. I like 80z bluz solo sound sometimes, though I would agree it's not what a good fuzz is about.

You certainly don't want to even bother with the other two I listed then haha! Have you played any of the Pharaoh type pedals? I have a classic Pharaoh clone I built and it's pretty amazing. Dennis Kayzer's got a nice YouTube demo of his.. It's white. The supreme just adds more clipping options and a starve knob. It's probably because it IS a muff.. the 47. It has so many 47x value caps haha. Yeah I love that one

Really stupid question but what the fuck? Does anyone have an A/B/Y switcher they really like? They're all cheap enough and all seem to do the same thing (A/B/Y). I'm at a point where I no longer should acquire anymore effects and instead should get structural utilities.

Yeah I'd love a pharaoh, I've always got my eye out for one. I'd build one from a fuzzdog kit but it looks pretty tricky and it's not even that cheap as a kit I just prefer to have different levels of gritty/hairy dirt up to fuzz for my sound, and that's why the broadcast is so perfect for me.

Also, I'm not being a dick ragging on 80s blues sounds, I genuinely like SRV but that's about it. Walter Trout/Jeff Healy/other 80s blues guys just don't do it for me.
