Thank you Radio Head for forcing me to listen to the riff from My Iron Lung every time I listen to a whammy demo. Also, a similar thank you to muse for ruining every fuzz factory demo.

Don't worry I'm sure they will break the country yet seeing as they actually want to, in a way I hope they end up doing just that, might just wake people up.

For the past week or two it's been bass - amp. Feelin' kinda bad for my effects. Wasn't satisfied with the Melx2, not really satisfied with the DB/Ruiner combo that replaced it -- although it's an improvement imo. Not that the Melx2 is bad.

I know it's kinda the point and it's something I appreciate about Devi's pedals, but the DB/Ruiner is so overpowering that it becomes a limited use item for me. DB is ALL BASS, ALL THE TIME and Ruiner is...well, I'm not really a synthy fuzz person so this covers all of the synthy that I need; even then I still have to work it into my playing. Although that IS part of the fun.

I dunno. I'm kinda tired of my pedals right now. I feel like I'm regressing.

snipelfritz wrote:For example, one of my favorite bands is Pink Floyd. They are known for some of the most quintessential album artwork as well as some of the most elaborate shows of all time, yet I got into them listening to burnt copies of CD's through my computer. It was purely the music that got me into them in the first place. All that other stuff is cool, just not something I, personally, value enough to spend money on. To each his own though. You know what they say, "haters gonna hate on the haters hatin' hatin' hate." :idk:

I have all the Pink Floyd albums on vinyl, and they sound horrible. I have some on 8-track tape, and they sound horrible. Artists and engineers do everything they can to remove unwanted noise. Why would I want to use a medium that then introduces them.

For me it's a nostalgia trip. There are some records I prefer on vinyl simply because it brings back memories of being five and eating up whatever it was my parents decided to spin. Like Osibisa's first two albums or the Allman Brothers At The Filmore East.

This + Birthday = :!!!:

I sold the Shoegazer + Cherry Pop I had cuz they were too all or nothing too. I could never coax that amp-breakdown sound of the TP side of the SG. Bring the Temp Trade tread back to life and get some new fuzz for a week if you don't have the $$ for new pedals...
