@dub: well yeah, I play music to express how I feel and it always helps. also, I start making really awesome music (after the 'emo' phase) when I just get into it and forget about the things that were bothering me. there's something special about that "twilight/dusk/sunrise" mood of transition that really pushes my creativity for some reason.


also, you can always go to a shelter. there are numerous kitties that want to be adopted +.+

I think i'm the only person on Earth that has travelled over 2000 miles to see Gong, Mission of Burma, and the Grateful Dead. i flew from San Francisco to Amsterdam for the Gong reunion in 2006, and from SF to NY for the Burma reunion in 02. so if i can just find someone who likes Belle and Sebastian, too, i'm sorted

Sorry.. I should stop being all depressed.

I'm just in kindof a weird mental state right now. I only slept once since last Monday and my thought process is all messed up. I can't sleep now either so I'm just lying awake thinking about everything that's wrong with me.

Shit yeah, sleep depravation does messed up things to people. What came first? Sleeplessness or the stuff you are thinking about? Not much I can tell you, one thing I definitely do well is sleep. Some people swear that herbal the is the stuff you need to use to fall asleep. I can sort of attest to that, tried some and it knocked me straight out. Hops and ??chase-devil?? are pretty damn straight sleepy-time.

Do you smoke pot a lot? Did you change smoking habits lately? That might be a reason as well. I know it's not exactly a popular opinion over here, but pot is evil. avoid that shit. If you are losing sleep because youre getting off of pot its definitely worth it. (Not to say that a toke once in a while is bad, but smoking regularly, as a habit, messed up too many friends of mine to just write it off to propaganda. More than alcohol even.)
