#E3RUMORS in the wake of Microsoft's failed press conference, EA was reported as whispering to her friends that she wishes to break up with the company, but doesn't think they could take it right now.

Reinstalled APB. Just as the thread on SA about it says, "The highs are very high, the lows are very frequent". It can be SO MUCH FUN but most of the time it's just not worth it. Most of the time you'll be paired up with two guys who just started against five guys who have all the upgrades and super fancy weapons. No matter what you do, on the enforcer team, it's never an even fight.
I was defusing a bomb in the open while one teammate was trying to read the stuff on the back of my shirt and the other was looking around a corner but not reacting at all to the enemies that I could plainly see sneaking up on us, right in front of him.
Found myself saying to the monitor, "right over there, dumbass...he's right there, ya fuckin' idiot!" just before getting blown away.
This was a mistake. Vidja games shouldn't be making me mad.
Uninstalled again.

That game is pretty cool. I only had fun playing with a group of friends though.

Yeah...I can usually only enjoy online games when playing with friends.
Also, is it just me or do people hardly ever type to each other ingame anymore? I know that people in voice chat have no reason to type, but EVERY random person can't be talking. Especially in shooters or crap that requires a lot of communication, you hardly ever get any heads-up.

You really need to master games before you play them online it seems also I bought a good quality headset for my PC - I don't think that I've actually used my mic yet.

Side note, I've decided to cave in and buy a 360 controller for my PC. I took one look at Dark Souls for PC and though "Ah, shit"

yeah I have a hard time really getting into single player games anymore...ok not entirely true, I play MMOs like they're single player, so that kinda doesn't make sense

I play a lot of league of legends these days, and unless I'm doing ranked I only play with my friends so I can yell obscenities at them

Wasn't there rumors of somebody redeveloping it? Fuck that game had so much potential.

I dunno about anything recently, but Realtime Worlds originally made it and then tanked like three months after it launched. Then the game was bought by Gamersfirst who made it free-to-play and opened up a cash shop where you could buy, well, almost pay-to-win weapons. They won't win the battle for you, but they make it so much easier if you're already skilled.
It really does feel like "man, this could be so amazing, but..."
Kinda like the original Planetside. So much going for it, but it's juuuuuuuuust not quite happening. That's the worst situation of all for MMOs. It's almost painful thinking about how good it "could" be.

APB srsly has one of the worst communities out there. It's kinda like playing with all the shitheads on Xbox Live, but throw in the "cops versus criminals" element so now they're all FUCK THE POLICE hardasses in addition to being racist/homophobic/etc.
On the other hand, this does make it absolutely fucking hilarious when you tase and arrest them, making their respawn time longer. Even better is when you stun them and wait until they're about to stand up again, then gun them down or run them over...you actually get penalized for killing a stunned person, so killing them is really going out of your way to piss them off. They just can't handle it. SO MANY ANGRY MESSAGES.

I've realised that I either get completely immersed in a game or I just stop playing them. Replaying the first Bioshock and remembered how good it was, played an hour without even realising. Or I can play Darksiders and won't have the will power to grind through. It's a shitty habit because I am just wasting money. I just want something good to bite into, I shouldnt be having more fun replaying Borderlands 2 for the forth time than any other title.

Also, bought a PC xbox360 controller. Accidentally stepped on the USB cord and now it's fucked. It was out of the packaging for less than 2 hours. Fuuuuuuuuuu

EDIT:
Found out that the xbone isn't available in Poland at launch, considering the company developing Witcher 3 is a polish country - the fucks going on.

The Last Of Us dropped today! If you've been waiting since some time in 2012, you're probably as excited as I am!
