Well the Tempest, don't get it if you're looking for a souped-up 808 or something, it does conventional drum sounds uhhh not particularly well, it'll never sound realistic no matter how well you program the thing. It excels in doing weird out-of-this-world things like noise blasts and timpanis in space, and the synth engine is as tweakable as I'd like it to be. The high point is the sequencer and interface, I can't help but feel that Linn held up his end of the deal more than Dave did, it's clear that the machine was designed for live performance and it fits that to a T. I work OTB 100% and I've never been left wanting with the Tempest being self-contained as it is. I wish it were cheaper though, but alas.

Yep Nova Musik always had the exclusivity on the white ones, they made 24 of the 10th anniversary Editions (is signed and has a badge on the side) this one is Number 3
