Thanks!

Well the Tempest, don't get it if you're looking for a souped-up 808 or something, it does conventional drum sounds uhhh not particularly well, it'll never sound realistic no matter how well you program the thing. It excels in doing weird out-of-this-world things like noise blasts and timpanis in space, and the synth engine is as tweakable as I'd like it to be. The high point is the sequencer and interface, I can't help but feel that Linn held up his end of the deal more than Dave did, it's clear that the machine was designed for live performance and it fits that to a T. I work OTB 100% and I've never been left wanting with the Tempest being self-contained as it is. I wish it were cheaper though, but alas.

I've always wanted one of those Junos, are they really the programming walk-in-the-park everyone says they are?

I used to have a Juno 60, the only keyboard synth I've ever owned actually. It felt pretty easy to dial in, for a total noob like myself even.

I posted this a while back, in some other forum but here is my Mountainking drone synth, the Channel Chief.

Yep Nova Musik always had the exclusivity on the white ones, they made 24 of the 10th anniversary Editions (is signed and has a badge on the side) this one is Number 3 :)

Oh wow, I didn't know there was anything special going on with the 10th anniversary beyond the select blowout and that god-awful $15000 bling one. Very cool. I'd like one please.
