Done a flanger video. It's not real exciting but shows off some stuff. It's currently encoding and claims it will take 28 minutes to create the mp4 file. I can't keep my eyes open so I'll upload it in the morning.

Yeah guys, you're not wrong! I didn't really show any subtle stuff, but it can do it. And you can do the Andy Summers chorus flange thing of course. And man, that positive feedback - it's like when you throw the color switch on a small stone and it gets all burbly and throaty. Except flangerised. And the distorted flanger is just perfect. I'll have to demo it as well. It's a good combo really - the feedback control means you have to work a little bit more to get things set perfectly - there's quite some interplay between that and the delay control, which is intensified if you run it after dirt. Even a little bit magnifies things a lot. But the distorted side its more set the knobs anywhere and go because it is guaranteed to sound good. I love it.
And the flanger sounds totally different to my BF-2 and HF-2 - so I can feel fully justified in having all three (and not just from a hoarder perspective...)
I think I'm going to spend the rest of the year just doing demos for the Bit Quest. So many sounds!

Flanger sounds really interesting. Kinda reminds me of my HBE Frostbite.
Now I wish someone made a demo of a bit crusher with a bass

Going to do the LPF/HPF next, after that I'll do the bit crushing. I suck so hard at bass so I'm not going to even consider a bass demo, but I can see what I can do about throwing some octave down stuff at it.

Thanks man!

Short and to the point!
Sounds awesome, Tom, thanks for making this!
And thanks again, Matt, for the demos! You guys are making really cool sounds with the BitQuest, showing it off in really awesome ways, and I really appreciate it. I hope y'all don't mind if I make a YouTube playlist and add all your videos to it on my channel, so that when people watch one of my videos it puts them in a playlist with all your videos.. sound ok?
Thanks again all you BitQuesters, really happy that you're having fun with it!

Woah, Goroth, that sounds REALLY cool!
I was never really a fan of the airplane flange type sound, but this pedal is really making me rethink the effect for its subtler and more interesting uses. It even sounded sorta like a phaser around 2:50
I think that I'm going to post a demo this weekend, maybe of the filter and the ring mod used as tremolo.
