WOW!!! AWESOME!!! :!!!:
First off, I already have a few nice analog chorus pedals:
-Boss CE-1
-Boss CE-2 (MIJ, long dash, silver screw)
-Boss CE-3
-Boss Dimension C
-Boss CH-1 (analog pre 2000 mn3007 version with mod for double depth and rate)
-Retro-Sonic Chorus
Each one of those has a particular sound/character to it. They're all different, and they're all fun (ok, maybe not the CE-3, I never use that one. Sorry, poor old forgotten CE-3).
But man oh man, the Cosmichorus isn't just a chorus/vibrato, it's a chorus shaping mega-machine! You don't just use it for chorus, you use it to literally design your chorus sound using the (mind blowingly huge) range of parameters!
I'm seriously considering making a chart of all my favorite settings for quick and easy dialing in (eventually I'll have them memorized, but I'm still kinda finding it overwhelming at this point).
The massive range chorus/vibrato tones this pedal churns out are absolutely beautiful!!!
On a completely superficial note: the pics online don't do justice to the sparkly paint on the welcome home units. Now that I see it in person, it really flickers and shines! As you move perspective the different bits of glitter catch the light and sparkle. Kinda neat now, as every time I look down at my board the Cosmichorus really stands out. I also love the big domed bypass indicator; nice touch!
Well done Ryan, this thing is a true masterpiece!
Tim, this loverly review is all I could have asked for for Christmas, thank you! *big smile* Really happy to read this!
Hope everybody else's arrives soon and you similarly enjoy it! Thanks again guys!

Mine arrived Xmas Eve and holy moly is it fantastic, perfect in every way!
It's like Ryan grabbed chorus by the balls and showed it who's boss. Then he threw it in a pedal enclosure and chorus did exactly what it was told, no fuss, no questions asked. Awesomeness resulted from that interaction.

Mine arrived today! I've actually never used a chorus before... I know right!
First Impression: Oh my god, I've always wanted to be in an 80's synth-pop band.
Second Impression: Hmm if I turn a fuzz on and turn down the rate it sounds cleaner or just like more pronounced(maybe?) Awesome!
Third Impression: Oh my god, it sounds like sex if you throw some delay on that. (also, realized I can use at as a super controllable modulation for delay, apart from using the normal modulation on the SDD, only being able to play with rate.
I'm pretty in love with it at the moment and I haven't even got into the switches or playing with the other knobs much. Thanks so much for an awesome pedal Ryan and I can't wait to explore the chorus world more!!!

#48 arrived today! I was off work, but I drove up to get it. I didn't want to wait until I got home, so I plugged it in to a little Blues Jr with the closest, cheapest, guitar I could find. It went from "Hey, this sounds great!" to "Holy shit! It gets better?" to "........" absolutely speechless. The hold was something that I thought might be neat, but it just might be my favorite feature.
I haven't even plugged it in at home with Goatkeeper control yet!
Thanks Ryan and Tanya!

Awesome guys, this is really great to read! I'm really happy you're digging the pedal, Shannon and Brad and Shane and TJ, and hopefully you too, Matt!
I'm just picking off the last of the partial payments now, no real rush as I'm kind of enjoying a bit of a break, but I've got about 15 more partials to get through and then the pre-order shall be complete.
Don't forget to fire away if you have any questions about the pedal and I thank you all again!

So, I recieved #61 today. Spent a few hours working on a demo (not done yet). I'll spare everyone the technical details and comparisons between other pedals. I'm a sucker for chorus and bands that use it. Type O Negative, The Cure, The Birthday Massacre- all of these sounds are in this box, in addition to some really beautiful textures that are useable not only for novelty demo sounds. It feels ands sounds very musical/warm/organic and just seems like Ryan put a lot of love in to it. I was a little hesitant after hearing the V3 demos to be completely honest, but jumped in because of my past experience with the Dr.
My only criticism of the Dr. Scientist/Ryan's pedals is that the finishes are so gorgeous/fun that they can distract from the whole purpose of the pedal. But, since these are basically the adult equivalent of the toys I used to collect as a kid, I love the thought that goes into that. Easily worth the money and it was well worth the 1+ years of waiting for it!
