Mine looks like this, but is US made and got some scratches in it, which probably knocked off some $$$. If I woulda got it when everyone liked "reliced" guitars it probably would sold for $2,000 instead of $500. :P

OH YEAH! Ive been working on this for a long time, and finally got it finished up on friday night. The jury is still out on its ranking, untill I put it through the BIG AMP. But I have been playing the fuck out of it. Something about teles makes me play classic rock type things, it's liek I channel tom petty. Tele customs make me play FUCKIN STONER METAL. Which is a lot like Tom Petty with loads of fuzz, with the record on half speed.

Tele's can do anything.

My Tele is the least expensive guitar I have so I took it to college, and now I'm in love with it. I've really never gotten any twang though.... Maybe I don't know what twang is because Strats sound more twangy to me.
either way, aen's tele is chocolate sex.

Ah, mine have the stratocaster-like saddles. 60th anniversary...

meh. I started with a 3 saddle 69 bridge, but it wouldn't intonate to my tuning. I put the six saddle on and noticed no loss of RazorGun. But it is staright ot jack, so that has lot to do with it. BTW, I totally Love Poo brown. It's going to be tough not to strip the rest of my guitars and stain them Poo Brown.

I've wanted one of those for so long.
I swear, Sg's and telecasters are my two guitars from now on.
-goes and looks at mustangs-

the SG is probably my favorite as well. i got a tele, SG, CIJ mustang, CIJ jaguar, and an ultra rare Breedlove Mark II electric prototype i scored from work. the SG is the most comfortable and musical out of the bunch.

Had an SG short scale bass years ago.
I was an EBO-? recording.
2 single coils and lots of knobs and switches.
It was fun to play in a muddy and a little less muddy sort of way.

i like SG's and tele because all the controls are out of my strumming range. Its really a comfort issue for me. and sg's can take a beating, just watch the ending of the music video for "the everlasting gaze" by smashing pumpkins. Billy's SG stays together and the Telecaster just shatters.

the sg's truss rod pocket in the headstock is routed out way too wide. i gigged with it and eventually a hairline crack turned into being able to pull the headstock about an inch from the fretboard starting at the first fret diminishing down to the fifth. it was fixed by using some epoxy and holding it together with some big fuckin rubber bands wrapped real fuckin tight for a day, then buffed with steel wool, then a buff with turtle wax. they are bitchin but ill-constructed guitars.

I don't really like the SG's body shape but... its fucking amazing to play with a neck starting right at the top of the body, every fret is full-access!

Oh yeah, that too, definitely makes songs like Breed, Cherub Rock, and Silverfuck way easier to play.
