Anyone use pedals on their vocals? I just got a tc helicon mic mechanic today to help with a steady reverb and compression everywhere we go. Saw Shroud Eater had them on their boards and their vocals sounded amazing. Just wondered if this is a pretty common thing... the only other person I've ever seen use anything is Mike from Yob.

I'm assuming you're not counting gain/harmonica mics and reverb? Digitech makes/made a vocal processor I've seen some bands use when their singer was having a rough throat day, sounds pretty OK if it's a shitty PA

Also the new Whores song is quite nice. Digging. Can't embed since I'm on mobile tho.

Listened to it several times over the course of the last few work days. Ripping.

Phil and I both use vocal effects. For the first couple of years, we both used the Mic Mechanic. Now he has moved on to the Voicelive Play (the blue one). Love the TC Helicon stuff, though we always turn off the Tone button's functionality -- it always makes the vocals feed back intensely when we've tried it before.

This explains a great deal. I'll have to try mine out and make sure I have tone disabled. Loved the echo/verb on the vocals. Sounded great.
Also...
New Whores. was a ripper. Can't wait for the album to release.

The hospital outsourced us to another ambulance service that we refused to work for and my last shift was sunday. Did the totally responsible thing and spent half of my last paycheck on BLK TRI Frost Giants and Torch sets. Fuck yeah!

I don't understand how you can have more than one ambulance service.
Did you guys get privatised at some point?
Also, I hope you all get something lined up. Good luck dude.

I have a Torch set in my LP Standard already and it's the best sounding pickup set I ever had. Gonna put the Vulcan series Torches in there and the Frost Giants in my Custom.

The CEO of the hospital has some kind of under the table deal to line his pockets. That's the whole reason it happened. The other service is a joke. Ivery worked part time at another hospital and just took anot her part time spot at another county. I'll be ok but for now I'm making less than half of what I was there. Money will be tight but we'l be alright.

Yeah or put them in my SG and flip the Drone in the bridge. Not sure yet, but probably flip the Torch set to pay some bills.
