I did some clips of the new Magic Pedals Black Smoke Boost. It's really more of a dirty boost, pushed power section style overdrive. Sounds pretty cool all on its own, probably even better into a more more dirty amp. At Magic's request I did one with it running into the Magick Fuzz, but I would have done that anyway as it's a no brainer combination and sounds pretty explosive.

Sorry that they're links. I wish I could embed these, but the phpBB coding is still on Flash and Soundcloud is on HTML 5 now, bummer. Not really ILF's fault at all, just the forum platform hasn't been updated in a long time.

Yeah -- just read an interview and they said he left to work on some other stuff. Plus he was playing bass and if I'm remembering correctly he was a guitar player, ya? Not that it matters entirely. I really enjoy Lord Mantis. Definitely has some Indian vibes, too, for anybody missing their new fix of Indian.

He also played bass in Middian (aka Yob-not-Yob). He's always been a great person to talk to on here, hope everything is going well for him.

Met him last year in Chicago at the Whores show. Nice dude.

Hey dudes, haven't been here in a minute. Gotta try to catch up soon.
In the last week:
- Played with Druden here in Denver and they destroyed my face. Goddamn that band rules.
- Got married to the loveliest girl I know.
- Started recording Khemmis album #2.
I'm going to go sleep for a whole day now. I'll check back in once I'm alive again.

That is one hell of a week.
Well done, sir.
Don't let your wife read that she was second on that list.
Pro tip.

Thanks dudes! And she was only second on the list because it was all in chronological order.
Otherwise, she would've been third. BA DUM CHKKKKK.
Oh and as of last night, a fourth cool thing-- just put a down payment on a set of Atlas cabs. 212+115 and a 2x12. This is gonna rule.

Nice.
Also welcome to making Rodney Dangerfield jokes about your marriage.

Duuuude!!! That show was the highlight of the tour for sure! So awesome! Khemmis rules so hard and I can't wait for the new record. Thanks so much for that evening. In addition to all the other awesomeness of that night, it's always been a life goal of mine for pieces of the building to start falling apart while we play. Achieved! And congratulations on the marriage.
Also, anyone touring or traveling through Denver should stop by trve brewing. Brew pubs generally aren't my thing, but their beer is amazing and it's a genuinely cool place. They figured out that we were a touring band and totally hooked us up. Real deal supporters of the metal scene.
And, for those wondering about Will, I'm in touch with him pretty regularly and he seems to be doing just fine. I guess he's just got other things going on and isn't posting here.

Sidenote: You're not going to be joining WITTR on their East Coast jaunt are you? Would be cool to grab a beer or two.

I won't be there. I pretty much quit doing the roadie thing altogether a couple of years ago. Would be stoked to grab a beer if I were going to be there though.
