seems a bit over priced, I'm not sure what the 470's have been going for but I know I got all 3 of my tuck and roll Kustom 215's for a hundred each.

470s are way lower powered than 270s/370s, right? And I agree, 500 seems a bit much. But if it's what you want, it's also not a bad price. Just not a pants-shitting steal.

Worth it?
I've been looking at that too. You could flip the speakers for almost that much.

I'm meeting with him on thursday since he practices on the same day and the same space as I do so I can just roll on up and try that thing out. I'm interested in it but it's been a while since I had or ever felt the need for a 4x12 but I have always wanted a vintage orange cab. I just would have to clean the spray painted tolex or remove it and add new orange tolex

That's a silly good price. If you don't, I'd be hells of tempted to dispatch one of my Chicago homies to snag it for me...
Oh and you can totally clean that tolex up...

I think against my better judgement I'm gonna buy it and use my 2x12 on top of it. If I find myself not using my science cab I'm sure someone will buy it from me to recoup the costs. How would one go about cleaning the tolex without damaging it. I'm also gonna change it to the classic basket weave as I didn't know vintage orange stuff had the black basket weave.
Gonna be dooming harder than I thought again haha

Don't be so quick to do that... the black grille cloth could likely be original...

I'm probably gonna remove the castors and seal the holes too. This bitch gonna be ridiculous.

I was thinking the same thing about the grill cloth. It's just too hard to tell in the posting pictures if it was spray painted or just old and stretched.

Kind of feel like I should pick that up for the guy playing bass in my band. Won't hurt me to have it, right?

Fuck no it wouldn't [hurt] I had a 400+ and that was beast. I always heard good things about the D-180.
