Just to clarify I made this for myself/for fun and do not intend on selling it or making any more.
It's pretty tricky to cram 5 pots, a toggle switch, and a pretty big piece of vero into this sized box, especially when I accidentally bought huge electros. So this seemed like the most logical way to drill the box and I kinda just tried to copy the aesthetic from there.
The original seems to have an awesome distressed clear coat or something that I didn't do. I kinda want to clear mine then hit it with a blow torch or something

Get ready to get sued by Doug. Almost looks better than the real thing.
Yeah that looks great. Fun circuit.

Didn't Doug publish the schematics himself? Not that that would mean it's OK to clone them for a profit but I'd say that makes it legit to build one for yourself.

Wow, my pedal looks like crap compared to everyone else's, I don't even have knobs yet!

In case you couldn't tell, it's a Woolly Mammoth clone.
I just replaced the transistors tonight, and the pinch knob works sooooo much better now.
This was just my first build, and my next one (Prunes and Custard) is going to look a lot more professional. I have a painted enclosure, I'm drilling the holes myself, AND I even have the knobs for it! Just waiting until the end of the school week to begin building.

you don't need knobs. if that is your first pedal and everything works, I would say you scored big on the DIY scale. if you built it for yourself than there really is no reason to spend hours on graphics. be happy

Everything worked alright when I first plugged in, but the pinch knob was always kinda screwy.... Once I got matched transistors it worked like a charm!
I've been modding my bass equipment for a while now, but this was my first pedal. I didn't have any screwups at all and nothing I had to go back and resolder. I had a bad pot and that was it. I've learned a lot from this one though, so I feel confident enough to take on some more complicated pedals!

Here is my Devi Shoegazer clone I FINALLY finished this last weekend. This was my first 2 in 1 pedal and the wiring was all new to me on this one. Plus I had problem with my 3PDT daughter board. I finally got it situated.

rub a dub verb with the volume knob mod. guts are in the "i want to start building, guide me?" thread.
