The guy who owns that company is an anti-abortion militant and makes rape jokes on his company's social media profiles...
I kinda knew he was a dick and avoided his stuff partly because of that but now it's just 100% "fuck no".

...And I JUST. BOUGHT. a case from them. At least it was B-stock and I can take the sticker off of what's actually a Seahorse case.

mein gott i am having the worst freaking time trying to sort a solid interface. the Zoom L12 is so damn cool. and multitrack records to a sd card whilst also multitracking over usb. so good.
but the thing will NOT work on my system. after spending every available music time since i got it troubleshooting or back and forthing with their tech support.... i gave up. especially when the last email was "we'll have to email the programmers in Japan". nope. too many headaches for something i JUST got.
so, sent it back, called and talked the nice Amazon Support Human into crediting me a gift card right away, Presonus AR16 should be here tomorrow.
PLEASE JUST WORK.

lol tru
that video back there with the koma and brain seed was.. AWESOME!!! these last few pages are really turning me onto the idea of performance based stuff vs sit back and let the sequencers do the magic. gotta find a balance. ..think I'm going to get a brain seed, too, muahahaha.
I'm reaaaally torn between getting a triple sloths, e355 or maths right now

just about ready to make a move, but there's no room for dickin around here

One thing I really like in the Pamela's Workout is the big start/stop button, it's super useful for hands-on control of a big portion of a patch.
Small things like a Kommander or a quNexus are also great additions for performances.

I want to get a triple sloths at some point too, NLC modules are usually quite cool (though a bit too much on the noise side for me for the audio ones)...

Y'all the tELHARMONIC is SO FUN.
Also I've been getting so much quicker at patching, coming up with new ideas on the fly, and finding new ways to push my setup towards its limit. Every time I sit down it's so intensely rewarding. Definitely happy with my decision to take the dive.
My Blinds & Kinks should arrive today and it looks like my Rings got un-stuck in USPS and should be coming soon, which means I'll have my rig at a temporary stasis point until after Secret Satan and after I take care of muh homies for XXXmas.
Here's where I should be after this weekend (plus Field Kit & soon Mescaline):

Here's where I wanna be (moving the 0 coast out, but probably still keeping it):

This could be very interesting. I'm curious how it'll work in a modular environment purely because it's not hard to "hold" notes forever in synthesis.

lol. it's so frustrating. it feels like it's been a month since i could sit down and just fuck around with music stuff. i still haven't run anything through my Malgorithm. damnit.
but. new interface is out for delivery today so.... woot?
also, freaking thought my uClouds was hung up in customs or something, but apparently it's been sitting at the post office for about a week. "no one was home when we tried to deliver". my work is two doors from my house, my grrL works at home. i call BULLSHIT.
lol. i'm actually not frustrated at all. been playing with tge Digitakt non stop.

Hope yr new interface works for you behndy. that sounds like a frustrating mess lol
So I got a question - is there anything I can use to randomize gate lengths? Right now I'm thinking with that setup I've got pictured above I could so it by running a Random A/D envelope on the Peaks, using my gate/trigger out to activate that A/D envelope, then sending that out to a Contour for optimal playin's with the Sustain control. Anything else that's small/simple & and applies PWM to triggers/gates either randomly or according to CV? Also cheap is a big plus.

I think you could do that with Maths, or something like the Doepfer a-162 trigger delay module.

Well, I couldn't take it anymore ...it's happening.
Will report back when I have some stuff in hand...

Lolol I haven't done ergonomic arrangement yet, this was just doing space math and putting nice colors adjacent.
I'll look into the trigger delay! Or maybe I should start looking into Maths lol. I kinda like the idea of not having one though.
Also hell yea!!!! Looking forward to seeing what you do raj
