There is certainly a fine line between doing what you have to and selling out. If you aren't getting a new Ferrari out of this you are probably on safe ground. Small labels are frequently a labor of love and not particularly well funded. If this is what they can do, I'd say go for it.

Thanks guys. I hadn't even thought about including everything on the digital download. My biggest thing was not wanting to cut the album. I mean, yeah, I don't like the first songs we wrote as much as the ones we finished right before we recorded. Including everything on a digital download will remedy that.

Oh btw that split you did fucking rips. Also the packaging is gorgeous.

As far as selling out goes, having your tunes out there in a format that people will gravitate towards means that they'll be listening to your band instead of a band that sucks. Most peeps will probably play the digital version more than the record anyway, so the vision will still be intact while you get the wax treatment you deserve.

Our buds in Mos Generator just posted about a killer looking animation project they are part of. Check this-

I'm interested in your results.

I'm currently trying to work out a solution to our bands problem...we are a two piece, both guitarists...the other guy splits his time between guitar and a noise desk. When we play riffs together, we sound huge and all good...but when he stops playing and goes to the noise desk, then its just me playing. I'm thinking of putting an EQ at the of the chain, so when we go down to one guitarist, i can hit that on, to boost the signal to make up for volume, but also introduce some more low-end as well, to make up for the fact that his seven string low-end disappears as well...hoping an eq pedal like this one will help fill out the sound so its not a huge drop off when he goes off guitar.

Does your amp have more clean headroom available? If not it'll just be distortion with a different tone.

Heh, I watched the clip with the skull (the screenshot you posted here), and was instantly confused as it sounded a lot like Conan. Had a double take like, fuck these guys nail that Conan vibe!

Then I realized exactly what happened and felt kinda dumb...

Awesome animation though!

Ax, that Conan clipped turned out great. Reminded me of Unicron, except with wizards instead of robots.
Can't wait to hear the Mos contribution.
