I'm getting really tired of people saying that if a guy sucks your dick or lets you fuck him in the ass, only the catcher is gay. This is total horseshit and invented by football players or something. If a man places his mouth upon your dickshaft and sucks on said dickshaft until the point where it becomes hard and you ejaculate, you are gay. No argument can be made against this. You are gay. Theres nothing wrong with that but you just need to know that you are gay.
ALSO If you fuck another man in the ass, there is no way he is gayer than you. You are gay, you have a boner, its for another guy, you are gay. Shut the fuck up and embrace it.
Engaging in sexual activity with the same sex does not automatically mean you identify as gay or bisexual, it means you have engaged in sexual activity with the same sex. I can understand your point if someone continually engages in sexual activity with the same sex but insists that they are strictly heterosexual, but doing so one time or even a few times does not automatically make someone non-heterosexual.
There are even some labels used now (mostly in research) such as "predominantly heterosexual with gay tendencies," & the other way around, as well.
As harmless as it seems, categorization can really make someone feel like shit about themselves in our cultural context.
Also, this is my 2113 post.

Don't feel like giving this a new thread, but what was that with Wah and Fuzz not getting along? I went to a store today and tried a Crybaby which in front of a Fuzz Face they had didn't make much of an effect and behind it there was no sound save for a wheeze in the heel position. I went to another store and after some more experimenting the same combination came up and it worked (after fuzz at least). Weird, huh? I took that Wah home and it works with my fuzz as well.

there's a rational technical explanation for that, but i don't have the know-how to explain it.

Dave Foxrox explains it all, he's the man:
Most inductor-based Wah Wah pedals use the same basic circuit. This includes VOX, Thomas Organ, Jen, Dunlop, and many of the newer boutique Wah pedals such as Teese, Fulltone, Buddha, etc.. Of course, there are many modifications and different quality parts used in these pedals which makes them all unique, but essentially they all adhere the same basic circuit topology. The classic inductor-based Wah circuit has an output stage that is not particularly well suited to drive a load. If the output is loaded down, the result is a very narrow sweep, the low end of the sweep pretty much disappears.

Read that up on the page, definitely very comprehensive. Thanks. It still doesn't explain why using the same two pedals (std Crybaby and Jimi Hendrix "sig" FF) behaved so differently in the two stores. Do those Jimifaces vary so much? Anyway, seems that by accident I set it up just right
Fuzz > Wah > Rev (buffered, I guess) > Fuzz. Well, and some other stuff in between but those are what matters.
And yes, I like it very much, makes me wonder why I was frowning on Wahs for such a long time.
