Ooohh, that LP is a sexy sob!crohny wrote:Considering selling my 2011 Gibson 60s tribute studio. White with p90s. Hit me up if you're interested.
Curious to see what they come up with for the next release. Saw them the other week and as always they ruled. Going to pull the trigger and buy Harmonicraft dispite they nay sayers out there.
Crohny swears by that switcher. I've got a Bigshot and have not complaints with it. I may 'upgrade' to something with leds since I will probably get a small board going for the dirty amp (boosts, tuner, flanger).Holy Schnikes wrote:Thanks dude!t-rey wrote:Super snazzy as always![]()
When you run both amps do you run your board just into the Ampeg? What sorts of dirt are you running into the Ampeg to pair with the OR15? I've been boosting my Blackstar and running my fuzzes into the Ampeg, but I really feel like I want/need a distortion pedal (or several) to put through the Ampeg for dem chugz.
Man, I'm busy experimenting now with the setup, trying to figure out the best way to run it. I basically use the amp dirt with the Orange for both clean-ish and heavy tones, run a delay and verb in the loop currently. Rest of the board generally goes to the Ampeg, constantly switching up dirt/fuzz to find the right mix. Love to run the Orange hot and the Ampeg fuzzed out simultaneously, sounds huge. My buddy has a Lehle Little Dual switcher I'm messing with currently, sounds really good, keeps the signal strong, easy switching but kinda pricey. I hear that shit's "the best" tho, who knows. Not sure how complicated I wanna make the setup just yet.
Oh, I've run some mod and delay pedals equipped with stereo outs to both amps as well, sounds SUPER, def give that a try if you haven't yet.
They sound seriously weird and wonderful. I'm more than a little jelly that you got to see AW do a house show in such an interesting house.AxAxSxS wrote:![]()
that just hinted at the weirdness, repurposed, destroyed pianos used as bars, "mystery drinks" homebrewed cider "stuff" arialist art projects, skull masks and cool artwork all over the walls. very groovy and interesting
And of course the raw power of the Ancient Warlocks caused a blackout at the start of their set.

Putting my Earthbound Audio Iron Pig up. Slime green with black ink. It's cool, just not what I want. They're, what, 175 new? Doom bros hit me up for a discount. I'd also like to try a Badascan. Plus, Earthbound Audio is changing names SO THIS THING IS OG VINTAGE LAWYER TOANZ TGP. But really, take it off my hands.

I don't have any stereo pedals, so I have yet to try that. But one of my new favorite things is running the Blackstar clean and running all sorts of delay and mod into the Ampeg - hella swirly and wonderful without losing clarity.

There is a three house 'compound' down the street from my brothers that has always been what can only be described as a hipster collective...that's about all that we have in that vein here
that seems fun. I was on the Westcoast for a few weeks last Nov-Dec. Loved it and really want to go back. Really really want to go back.AxAxSxS wrote:Hope nothing bad happened.pelliott wrote:To no one in particular and yet everyone DON'T SHIT WHERE YOU EATThose guys kick ass and dicks live, didn't care for em before I saw em play. they rule.pelliott wrote:Ugh this isn't doom or anything of its ilk but this album is going to kick so many dicks in a few weeks:
Darrens band kicked all kinds of everything last night. hope any portland people are there tonight. AW in a small room with only vocs in the PA sounded incredibly good.

Honestly, mods don't really increase value on a guitar. Most of the time they actually decrease value, and 500$ for a les paul studio is a fair offer. That RD is an amazing guitar, and I'd say the trade off is it worth it to me.sergiomunoz74 wrote:Guys, guys, guys. It looks like I might be able to afford the Gibson RD by selling my current les paul and a synth. Someone shot me an offer of 500 for the les paul, seems a little bit low considering what it has in it. So I was wondering does anyone think it's worth it doing this super rapidfire and being left using rental guitars for the next week or should I just wait?
+1...i was stung with that when i changed pickups. So $500 seems fair...basically by modding a guitar you reduce the size of the market to people who like that mod, so makes it very hard to sell.Ancient Astronaught wrote:Honestly, mods don't really increase value on a guitar. Talk to the buyer and tell him your situation, the worst he can say is no. Most likely if you explain the situation it won't be that big of a deal. Plus if you wait till the RD comes in you'll have the appropriate shipping boxes to securely ship the LP.sergiomunoz74 wrote:Then you know what, I'm going to do it. I love the shape, would love to look a little more unique and although I like my les paul. I'm gonna be the first to say it, I want a cooler looking guitar.
Now the only thing though is if I should tell him that I can send it next week because otherwise I'll be left with nothing. I'm gonna do it. gahhhhhhhhhhhh
