Not cheap at $2,179 USD, but at least it's not discontunied. Digging the new black enclosure. Erica's Perkons rhythm machine/synth is also getting closer to a release.

That mtl.asm overdrive is actually perfect for what I need as a primary splitter. Been looking at bass pre-amps like Darkglass and MXR with a dry through, but the Too Positive looks to have the most flexible routing options. Just wondering how it sounds with bass and with lower gain, in a stereo demo.
Only thing is... graphics?? Isn't this the first time MA has ever done that? I hate to be like this - and I do think the minimal '60s style is cool - but I'd prefer it in the standard finish, it's just such an iconic look. Anyway, all in favor of builders experimenting according to their whims, not a bad design, but I hope it's not a permanent change in branding.

huh i had to go look for it, but, yeah - those graphics were...unexpected
i don't hate them, but it does feel a bit disorienting
i'm sure i could get over it in like 10 seconds tho if it was the right pedal for my use (and it might be with a Julep incoming )
well, maybe 20
but would it even cross your mind if it was another builder (Fairfield excepted)?

No it's definitely something that took me by surprise only because it's a builder known for not having graphics on their pedals. Maybe if I followed mtl.asm more closely on social media (didn't even follow on IG until now), this shift in direction would not have been as unexpected.
This pedal happens to fit exactly what I need but it doesn't at all look how I want, so it's completely a very board-specific me-issue.
