If it's anything like Cloudy it would send every other grain to the other channel, but without a pan/spread parameter that might get old quick.

I’ve always run glitchy stuff before any stereo split, but I’ve only ever had mono glitch pedals. That said, running the dark side of my Dark World through massive stereo reverbs is super sick and I feel like I’d get a lot of use out of a Particle or Cloudy or something.

For real though, like I don't get it. hahah
You don't get wanting to play in stereo?
I was initially confused as cbm by the fact that the particle v2 outputs to stereo, especially if it receives mono input, I have found no info on how that's supposed to work. I too was going to pick up some TRS cables and try it out but now I guess I won't as there seems to be no info as to how else using that pedal in stereo would work. Pretty much all my other pedals are mono at this point anyway so if I ever run a stereo setup, it'll be with two separate mono boards which I guess really isn't "true" stereo anyway?
I honestly don't get the whole playing in stereo thing. It's mostly a lack of understanding on my part to be honest. I just have never done it so I don't know what I'm missing I suppose?

I did figure out the Revolver! The latch thing is an added feature you can shut off. So, I ought to be able to get some weird warbles now. We shall see!

From a financial POV, you are probably better off.

Sitting in a rich stereo field is pretty rewarding, IMO.

Agree wholeheartedly, it can be rewarding depending on how it's done but yes lots of extra gear means more money and honestly the thing that keeps me from doing it is that most of my favorite pedals do not offer stereo ins and outs, if they did I would definitely always run to amps and always run stereo because it can sound so amazing when done right!

Agreed, it it''s just a ping-pong routing. I've used granular software that can do some cool randomization of position, which can create an interesting stereo field.

Has anyone tried the stereo pan on the Cloudy? Thoughts? I am just beginning to dig into the pedal, there's a lot there. I like it so far but have yet to determine what's all worth exploring with it such as stereo and firmware, etc. Would love to hear more thoughts and opinions from people on different firmware and what they think of using it in stereo vs. mono.

The only firmware update out there fixes the input gain only. Haven't tried it in stereo, but there are plenty of videos of the Clouds module in stereo on YT. Same thing, basically. Sounds nice.

Where can I find the firmware update for the input gain?

May have to look into the Cloudy.
I love my euro Clouds, a pedal version wouldn't be half bad. Could make my own, if not for lazy

I'm still liking mine, but where the modular version really shines IMO, is when a lot of parameters are being modulated. An expression pedal, or other CV source, is pretty much required for my use of Cloudy.

I hate CV almost as much as I hate MIDI. Just give me presets and I'm Gucci.
