I just recorded a demo yesterday of a build on my latest PCB. Looks incredible and sounds so big and doomy. Voltage starve is super useful to tame it down a notch but overall, wow. Really picks up anything this is going on with the guitar, if you tap it you can hear it through the pickups. Also picks up subtle picking technique even at full bore.

This is just riding the volume knob up so you can get an idea of clean up.

If anyone wants one before I start getting enclosures with labels printed let me know. I would love to hook up a ILF'er. I plan to retail these at $229 for those who are curious. I have one ready to ship now and will have a couple more come next week.

Here are a couple recycled parts Perc cicrcuits. The first substitutes an NPN Germanium transistor for the NPN silicon,

Thanks!! I used the russian military equivalent of a 2n404. It's a MP16B. You can find silver cans pretty cheap but I prefer the look and sound of the black military spec. In reality each transistor sounds a little different so I test every one on the breadboard at different voltages before soldering them to the PCB.

Nice man, I got some 16's, but yeah I agree even 2 from the same lot with similar gains sound different. I have used 42's in my last 2 percs. Thanks for sharing.

Why Accountant after it?

I need to get a new SD card for my camera.

Using The Accountant as a limiter of sorts. Also, adds some nice squash.

I usually run the Fredric Utility Perk cranked into The Accountant. Way too loud otherwise. Full up the Fredric has more gain than the Dirge. I like the Even Anguish better for lower gain sounds though. Has a nice ring to it. Doesn't really need to be limited at lower gain, but The Accountant makes it better for that chicken pickin'.
