So far, his comedy seems to be reeeaaaaalllllly boring and just not that funny. :idk:
That goes for his music too.

Everything and everyone in Community is wonderful. Donglover is at peak efficiency.

Yeah it was a good show. Never finished, because got a little burned out on it (it might be a little on the repetitive side) but it's a good sitcom.

I can't believe Gregg Araki directed a few episodes of 13 Reasons Why ... in a joint venture with Selena Gomez as an executive producer, no less. Odd bedfellows indeed.

I made it through one episode of Bitten and don't know what to make of it, but the Flash and Arrow continue to entertain.

I couldn't get into Arrow.
It sucked so much dead donkey dick after seeing Daredevil be so on point and gritty as all fuck.
If we're talking superheroes that get themselves caught up in legalese situations outside of punching motherfuckers.
Iron Fist was pretty cool at points, but the most disappointing thing ever at others.
It wasn't as bad as some people said, but it was a let down after the other Defenders' series.
They should have cooked the scripts longer and put out a miniseries about
NSFW: show
Madame Gao and the Hand, because she was the best thing about that series,
instead.

I thought Iron Fist was awful. Arrow was campy fun for a season...then the production values got so poor that they couldn't be ignored. The other Marvel stuff was a blast.

I've gone through all of Arrow's (and Flash's and Supergirl's) seasons.
After S1 it went way downhill. It takes itself way too seriously. Especially BatArrow.

Flash made up for it by being a lot more optimistic. But, Iris + time bullshit really dragged it down.

Overall, I've really preferred Marvel's shows over DC's. :snax:

The thing about the Marvel series is they're genre mashing.
Iron Fist is (at least I read it this way) some kind of cross between Hong Kong action films from the 80s and financial/Wall St era thrillers from about the same period. But it just sort of sucked at picking the best elements of those and owning them for all their cheesy, self indulgent glory.
It should have gone balls to the wall.
Luke Cage was killer because it was like mashing Blaxploitation with 90s hood movies.

Yes, totally. Even the tentpole movies are doing it. The new Spider-Man is billed as a John Hughes-type flick starring a superhero. Ant-Man is a heist movie. Jessica Jones was an unvarnished abuse parable/psychodrama.

DC doesn't understand or hasn't figured out that 'comic book' isn't a sufficient genre anymore. It's like their shows are unaware of the whole postmodern comic movement from 1981 on.

Also I can't believe I'm saying this because I'm an adult but where the fuck was the action in Iron Fist? It was slow and lame, and he used his fist (which, in case you missed it, is the name of the fucking show) about three times. And only one of those was even a little satisfying.

This was definitely the "worst" part of the show.
They built up all this suspense around it and then barely actually used it.

Yeah, I fully agree here. Arrow was dumb as fuck and Iron Fist is basically the same story. No suspension of disbelief at all for me, I just kept saying to yourself "why the fuck is he/she doing that ?"...

Daredevil and Jessica Jones are pretty good though, and Luke Cage is borderline, halfway between good and bad I think.
