Of course Knobs is great. Nice vibe/sense of humour/sound illustrations (by which sounds illustrate ideas and words illustrate sound ideas).
But let's not forget the power of the Outward! The Outward itself has much to do with the 100 pedal-iterations getting snapped up.

Mine showed up an hour or so ago. Lots of variation to be had when tweaking a held sample. Trying to figure out the right place to put it in my chain where I can get lots of use out of it without having to turn knobs but also work well when I want to stop playing and turn knobs. I normally bail on pedals that do their thing when you stop playing and tweak but the Outward has sounds that work either way.

I could see that working although thus far when I stopped to turn knobs I was tweaking both and just one wouldn't give as dynamic of results.

Mine came in earlier today. It's sounds super cool. I'm trying to get the hang of it now. I agree with the other guy, I have no idea where this will go in my chain.

Having finally laid hands on this pedal I don't think I would go for expression controls. Hard to explain unless you've also played one but tweaking the knobs isn't something where I want to be able to rock a pedal back and forth or sweep a control. Its more like I want to move a knob to a region where I know roughly the speed or size of sample I will get as a result. And then be able to move the knob back to the full position to get the original sample back. Trying to do that with 15 degrees of pedal sweep wouldn't give nearly the amount of control you need. Or maybe just not what I would need. In delay mode it might be useful like a regular expression control but in time stretch mode I don't think it would be worthwhile to dedicate two expression pedals worth of space.

Aw Dude that's a bummer. Yeah give it some time to dry and it should be ok. Not much water could have gotten inside

I dunno who this guy is - but fuck him. He's listed two Outwards for sale so far, each at a more insane price. Fuck you, whoever you are, DIAF.
