I'm NOT a "noise" guy, but my guess is if the people at Korg heard what you can do with the Miku Stomp, they would demand that you father their children...

Okay, I have one more demo (unless I can think of something else really cool to do). This one has no distortion, but does get a bit loud. Read the Soundcloud description. And enjoy!

Edit: I just realized, I lost most of this recording. I recorded 10 minutes, but somehow only saved a minute and a half. Really wish I had kept more detailed notes so I could recreate it accurately, but I'll just have to redo it the best I can.

...and after you've inseminated the Korg women, they would demand that you inseminate the korg men...

Listening again to the 2nd Miku track, to me it sounds like something that should be played with the "trippy" sequence of 2001 a space odyssey...

Pros of this vs. a vocoder for drone? I want to run it off one of the heads of my head rush for a second voicing with monophonic synths

In my experience messing with this thing in drone/noise stuff, some miku's seem to have a low threshold for constant high signals (they freeze, get quiet, and have to be reset but it could have just been my specific unit). I would think a vocoder would be much more versitile and better able to handle a wider variety of signals. A talk box is another neat way too (zapp and roger used that on a keyboard and not a vocoder).

Miku is a weird one though and fun...just got sick of it freezing in the middle of stuff.

Necromancy is afoot !

My friends band play awesome fuzzy music and make demos. I gave him the Miku for Christmas, he demoed it and used it with a hyperion which sounds brilliant

over the last couple days I have been recording some really fun stuff with my Miku. I have been recording a loop into the CT5, using an E-Bow with the Miku. I then slow it down and run it through a misty cave, afterneath and supermoon chrome. I then record that with the Ditto x2 and then hit the 1/2 speed switch. Awesome soundscapey Drones.

Glad you like them, im attempting to get back home (where they are from) and try to demo my pedalboard with them but its pretty hard as they are busy or i am such as life is. They really get the ethos of FUZZ though which i love.

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but we just paired a Miku with a SubDecay Noise Box, a de:fx BDSM and a Joyo D-SEED while triggering it with a Korg Volca Beats and... well... y'know

Bible Black influenced for sure (cue retractable schlong sound effect).
