played one of these recently and now i'm fucking dying to get one. i'm not into pointy guitars at all, but i have fallen under it's spell. never thought i'd want something like this.

see, I don't think those really qualify as "pointy" I think that shape actually has some class. Now BC rich tends to do the overly gaudy thing and those are no exception but the potential to turn in into something amazing is there. get rid of some of the inlay stuff and make it a little more conservative with the paintjob and I would be all over it. the one you posted isn't that bad, but some of them get a little to much with the abalone and crazy paint.

I agree the mockingbird is really the only bc rich I have ever liked.

Yeah I'm definitely gonna try one out in the store and if it's good buy that one rather than internet ordering. I've heard good stuff, but we all know big guitar manufacturers' QC can be a bit lacking. Plus, seeing if I REALLY dig it and have a use for it or I just think it'd be funny. I don't wanna buy a guitar that won't see much use.
