Thank you!
When I bought it, it had a Miche Primato group set on it - so the crank, bracket, headset and brake are from that. The rest isn't really anything to write home about... Alex rims, Origin 8 track bars, seatpost, stem and pedals from MEC. Okay... wait... I lied. The pedals are worth writing home about! They're the MEC Greyhounds - they're AMAZING. What makes them so, is that they're all metal and have sealed bearings. And they're CHEAP! Really loving those. Smooooooooooth. And last but not least, my beloved Brooks B17. That seat will move with me, if I ever change bikes. LOVE that seat. I tucked the flaps underneath and corseted it, because it adds a "slight" (*cough) firmness and well... it looks a lot like a Swallow.
I was considering a new set of rims and tires next year... but I'm not sure about that. I might take a look at the 2017 Fuji lineup, first.

Atta boy!
You need to invest in some gloves for trail riding!

Yeah gloves actually make a surprising difference. Much more comfortable, especially when it gets rough (twss)

I think I've got it just about right, now. Sad that summer's almost over... but I think it's going to be a good winter, riding rollers.

that's beautiful...simple and elegant.
i bought a road bike, hanging up the fixie for the meantime, but planning on reviving it in the next few months with longer stem and better wheelset...here's a picture of the roadie for the meantime, she's called Gretel, and she rides real well...first pic is when i first picker her up...the second pic is after changing the bar tape, and adding new pedals...and after a 60 something km ride with a mate...

I'm thinking about getting a BMX bike to just ride around town.

I'm sure you can find a purple one. I fell in love with with sibglespeeds as a kid riding a BMX all around the city. It was fun. #1 afterschool occupation back then

Well, I definitely could find a purple one. I'd have to pay more for it though.
Not looking to spend a bunch of money on it. I did a little searching on Craigslist and am looking at last year's models in stores. Not absolutely positive it's something I really want. Just thinking about it. It'd probably be more convenient and extremely fun.

You need the longboard version: a dirt jump bike.

Looks dope!
Also just want to say that if there's something I hate about a lot of cyclists... it's their squeaky transmissions. And it is even more ridiculous when you ride a carbon frame, clip ons, and expensive tights. WILL YOU JUST LUBE IT PLEASE? THE NOISE IS KILLING ME!

1) that bike is proper
2) those bars are beautiful
3) downtube shifters rule, but I'm a bar-end guy
I need to get some photos of my bikes up. I work at a bike shop so I have a nice little collection. For those of you with nice imaginations: Bianchi Super Pista with Dura Ace track shit. Surly Karate Monkey setup SS with XTR cranks and XT brakes. Raleigh Grand Prix (recent version) with 650b wheels and a Brooks. My GF has taken a shine to my Raleigh so I might need to invest in a new road bike.
Edit: also Chank I have a buddy selling tons of bmx cruisers if you want something classy for relatively cheap. Shipping is a dick jam with bikes though.
