i hope you dig dishonored. i obviously loved it to immediately go through it a second time. very frustrating sometimes, trying to pull off ghost missions, since at least twice i've had people die on me that i didn't kill, but still a very, very impressive game IMO.

Dishonored seems cool so far. A bit different than I expected, but still pretty cool. Fallout 3 is one of my favorite games. Sooooo much to do and such a cool setting.

My brolo is letting me borrow Last of Us soon. I am pretty excited about that.

Has anyone played the Infamous games on PS3???? Thoughts?

Infamous is great. It's really outdated these days and hasn't aged well, but it's still a hell of a lot of fun to play. I haven't played 2 yet. I've heard it's not as good as the first but I'll definitely be picking up the second, and of course the third when it comes out on PS4. I think it's a launch title.

Started Last of Us. Very intense. Very cool.

Also bought Farcry 3 today because it was on sale for $20 at Target. Heard a lot of good things, so couldn't pass it up at that price.

I'm waiting until I can afford to invest in new parts for a fresh computer build and play Far Cry 3 at max graphics. Still arguably the best looking game ever made.

I don't usually like FPS games against humans but Far Cry 3 is fantastic... the story and dialogue are great, really engrossing, awesome villain, really cool soundtrack, and the graphics are incredible.

So what else is new in gaming lately? Rogue Legacy and UnEpic for me.. ready for something new now!

I've never been big on computer gaming. But I might try some games now that I have a decent computer. It just feels lazier and more gratifying for me if I'm on a couch with a controller in hand

That's a strong endorsement for Farcry knowing your taste in games. Makes me even more excited to try it!

The main reason why I prefer computer gaming over console gaming is not because of superior graphics, faster refresh rates, and higher resolutions but because of a keyboard and mouse. It's faster and more accurate in almost every way for FPS style games. Football, racing simulators, etc. all benefit from a console controller, but I'm a third and first person shooter so a keyboard and mouse is my home.

All the pc gamer guys I watch use some program that lets them use an Xbox 360 controller, so you can still game how you like.

You can use the 360 controller on PC. I've never tried it personally but I hear it works pretty well with the right software and connections. It would be a great way to combine the best of both worlds. I was going to get it for Batman Arkham Asylum, but my PC couldn't play the game that well so I just bought it on 360. Batman is great on console anyway.

I remember playing a Halo tournament with some friends the year the first Halo came out (so around 2001, 2002). I didn't have an Xbox at the time so I was really incompetent with a controller. I was losing pretty much all encounters and sucked despite knowing a few of the maps from playing them on my PC. I eventually got tired of losing so badly and modified the console to accept a mouse and keyboard, and I suddenly started slaying. The match turned into the most intense match I've yet to encounter and be a part of. My friend and I were tied for the top spot at the last few rounds but I won by one or two matches out of something like 600.

Anybody check out Gone Home? It's short but I thought it was really neat!

Not really a spoiler, just comment on the game, but don't read it if you plan on playing it:

I love when a game sets you up for one kind of experience or puts you on a certain kind of path but then at the end it wasn't like that, it's a different experience.. that's cool, made for a compelling gaming experience as a viewer.
So who's playing what lately? Saints Row 4? Brothers? Dragon Crown?

I finished The Last of Us last week. Holy. Shit. Easily in my top 10 favorite games.

Been decompressing and playing Forza 4 since then. Which I'm having a blast with.

Need to start Dishonored again - accidentally deleted my save data when freeing up space for my Forza install :picard:

I will probably pick up Saints Row at some point down the line. Looks like too much fun to rampage in that game!
