^ I can't see the pic.

What happened with your anodized plans, parts just taking too long? Wrinkle finish sounds cool, similar to hammered??
I'm gonna have to hold out no matter what cuz my whole goddamn guitar will be anodized with black fretboard and pickguard then something else special for the body. Gonna have him brush the back of the neck probably, still debating headstock. Kevin hasn't mentioned any finish holdups but we're in the design stages currently. Either way, must be patient, will be difficult!

Yep, that's a long wait, totally understand. I hope that doesn't happen with mine but I'm determined to weather that storm if it comes damn it, gots too! I won't get another chance at an EGC for a long time unless I go selling everything so I'm getting this sob exactly how I want it. That's my plan at least...

I asked for an update on my project yesterday.
EGC wrote:Slowly getting there. I have the drafts ready so Ill send them along. Ive been messing with a stronger alloy for the necks, so I can go thinner and keep the strength intact. Its 7075 vs 6061. Ive been wanting to do this for a good while, but your guitar is the challenge for it. I want this as light as possible. We have gotten standard models down to 8lbs without the alloy upgrade.

I broke the first string on my EGC! but, it was because I hucked it on the ground at the end of our set. Which, fifth time I've done that.

Damn it, you missed the golden opportunity of "engagement guitar". At least yours is currently on the way tho.

Not giving a fuck! Only thing damaged thus far was a string? That's a testament to the power of aluminum...

That's awesome. I really like the idea of a guitar you can use to hammer nails or beat people with and not even damage it. I'm not crazily rough with my guitars or anything but daaamn it'd be cool. Gawd I want an ecg bass so much...
