Every batch they made last year, they had to dump. They finally made a batch this year in May. You might be able to find some bottles, but mostly it's in kegs:

They should be making more soon for an early fall release.

The taphouse down in Gaithersburg has it. I went down last Friday when they announced it. The crazy thing is they had gotten a case of bottles earlier in the week and they were pouring 4ounces per person, for a higher than normal price, and you had to have a golden ticket in order to get any. They sold that out in no time and the place was packed. Then like 4 days later I'm there drinking it on draft, at happy hour, and loving life.

The whole point of the bottles is to let it age. If I get a 4 pack, I'll drink one per year.

Or I'll drink one, then I'll get tipsy enough to not resist drinking another, then I'll be so drunk I'll slam the third in one sip, then I can enjoy the fourth while I wait for the ambulance to arrive.

Ah, the Troegenator. Fantastic fucking beer.

And, really, one of the few exceptions to the point I made earlier in the thread. Right there is a great malt-forward American-made beer that does not have an exaggerated hop aroma. More of that, please.

That sounds killer. There are some INCREDIBLE bocks out there but for some strange reason alot of people just don't seem to be savvy towards them. They are rare, but some of the best beer I've ever drank in my life are some crazy fucked up bocks! :)*

Actually, I'm probably not gonna go right into another stout. Probably should think about getting my end of summer / early fall beer. So either a some sort of dunkelweizen / weizenbock or maybe even a doppelbock. I'm gonna have to go down and check out their distribution book and see what I can get.
