the percolator is dark as hell, darkest drive pedal ive ever had. I like it (its actually a present for a friend so I need to make another one).
Its a stock version with a switch to remove a diode, takes away the character but makes it a very useful overdrive. As stock it sounds mean as hell but with the diode it works a lot better when stacking with fuzz pedals.
I made it from this kit http://pedalparts.co.uk/harmonic-percolator-kit/ I'm looking forward to actually designing stuff on vero board now I have a bit of confidence with an iron. I did fuck up the wiring on the inside, so much wire. I can take a gut shot but you wont be able to see anything past the miles of wire.

Made this guy to try different resistance and transistor values in the Gloom Drive. Been pretty interesting and I might have found a new simple overdrive circuit!

Thanks dudes!

And Hbomb- I think that would be really neat. I'd like to see if I can't combine the overdrive circuit with a Stampede without oscillation. Have the overdrive go into stacked Gloom Drives

It kind of reminds me of those Frankenstein pedals that someone was making fairly recently. I think it would be cool to have a circuit board on the outside with some sort of clear shielding around it.

Also looking forward to getting that back from Dan! Should be an easy assembly, so as soon as it lands I should be able to build it up pretty quickly.

Lao, I probably asked you before, but what do you use for your etches? Are you using Ferric Chloride? I'm looking to start using a different type. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm tired of paying 12 bucks a bottle at Radio Shack.
