in even more news, cause i apparently have a lot to say today, everyone here should listen to Bolzer! listen to them as much as possible and set up a shrine in your living room to honor them. this band rules so hard. it's probably one of the most interesting and original metal bands i've heard in a long time, on top of just rocking so hard. not really doom, although they have their moments. kind of a raw death metal meets black metal with an awesome wall of sound approach to the guitars. and really killer riffs. it's a two piece, which i normally hate, but i can't stop listening. dude plays a ten string guitar, which he does really well. i love it. and they're playing portland tonight! i'm so stoked. will report back. if they're hitting your town with what's left of this tour, you should go. they're swiss, so who knows when you'll get another chance, if you live in america.

I've got a WGS ET65 sitting in my closet that the dust cap is separating part way and causing it to fart a little bit. If it will help you out, just cover shipping on it and you can have it. I was gonna try to fix it but I'm afraid I'd just fuck it up more than it is. The speaker works, it just farts out a little bit because of the dust cap flapping. Oh yeah, its 16 ohms... dunno if that will matter.

Also congrats to Dr Fuzz Von Dunwich

Thanks, Clifton. I may take you up on that. 16 ohm is what I need. Waiting to hear back from a buddy who might have a speaker for me, but I'll let you know.

My bigger problem now is that I no longer have a face because bolzer tore it off and left it splattered all over the walls of the venue, along with everyone else's face who was there. Holy shit they were amazing.

I love Bölzer. It's time for a full length to drop.

Anyone ever seen these? My "tech" who insisted upon replacing my parts with originals and can't keep the amp itself functioning had it in his shop.

Hey SLK: i found an acoustic g100t in my area for cheap. I'd never heard of em so I googled it and your amp demo was the first thing that came up. Sounded pretty beastly. Any other thoughts on that amp? You ever record anything with it?

I think its because I never started so I don't know how much fun it is. Better to keep it that way.

I didn't really drink until my late 20's, then had a round robin of house parties with friends and bandmates every weekend for a couple years. Kind of worked all the party out of my system, now the most I drink is maybe a bottle of beer every couple of years if I feel like it. I usually just say "I don't drink" to people when they offer, but it's not a philosophical stance, I just don't care about it. I was raised around drinking in a not very positive way until I was a teen though, so there wasn't much mystery or missed out fun in it to my mind growing up.

Trying to sell my '70 Traynor YBA-1, which I hardly ever use. Thinking about picking up a 60's or 70's Fender Bassman or something similar for fun.

Gets really fucking nasty and I dig that. I think it should be louder but I honestly feel that it's cause the life on the tubes in it are at it's end. And I haven't bought new tubes to replace it. I've only recorded some messy as fuck death grind for Zombie Raiders with it.

I would say get it, depending on how much they want for it.
