Man, my left leg is all fucked up. I got a problem with my knee from being hit by a car back in 2007, and a few years ago I had a monster tumor pulled out of my foot, so now a good quarter of the bottom of my foot is all scar tissue.

Assortment of relatively minor injuries here. Couple of broken things. Couple of surgically repaired things. Cost of taking a piece of wood at high speeds into manmade and natural objects for a long time.

Gotta get on the foam roller trip, doom room. Highly recommended.

*knock on wood* I've never had any broken bones or never been hospitalized for anything. Although, I believe my mom said when I was an infant, I was really sick and brought to the emergency room or something.

So I've shoved my new guitarist down the rabbit hole of pedals. His first purchase was a BAT Witchburner. He got it in time for practice tonight. Looking forward to hearing it. :!!!:

Partial plantar fascia tear? And he didn't put you in a walking boot? No recommendation at all?!

Conky: Those night splints aren't fun and don't work for everyone. I hear ya.

Once inflammation calms down, yeah, foam roller or tennis ball to the bottom of the foot will loosen things up. For now, freeze half full paper cups and use the ice cup to massage the bottom of your foot for about 5 minutes 2-3 times a day. Helps with pain and inflammation.

If your plantar fascia is inflamed, make sure you don't rub on it. Icing helps, but stretching your calves helps the most.

Physical therapy will likely help. They can probably do some modalities to reduce inflammation and the strengthening exercises will move along recovery.

Do some hip and core strengthening in addition to any lower leg stuff they have you doing.

Calf stretches will help to some extent but isn't always the root of the problem.

Scored this 5150 tonight for $100. The pots are scratchy as hell but it has brand new power tubes in it so thats almost worth what I paid for it anyway.
