Some odd collection of underpaid factory workers in China. Or possibly outside of China but owned by a Chinese company.
Do they make custom SG's? Do you mind saying how much it cost, or could you pm me with it if you don't want to post? I keep thinking about modding the hell out of an Epi SG, but that LP is sweet. If I avoid the neck joint issues, I can sand and condition a fretboard and level frets... Getting finish of choice, a fat neck, wraparound bridge and double hums with no pickguard would be so sick...

they make all kinds of stuff, cost can vary wildly, this one was 340 us. I found another and ordered it for 220 so I can have a backup. Looks identical except for darker stain on the back. The prices are adjusted for us market and you can contact a seller to negotiate price or ask for certain features.
The Ric style bass I got a while back was very much a custom build, wood type, neck, finish, that one did arrive completely as advertised, real ebony, etc. Very nice. It also needed a lot of adjustment to make it a worthwhile instrument.
Best advice I can give is do your homework, don't buy the first one that fits what you're looking for that you see, a lot of the sellers are selling the exact same shit, at very different price points. Do contact the seller ahead of time and work out whatever you want to do.

I think if you got a more conventional one the neck stuff would probably be a non issue. In my case with the lifeson thing I think they were kinda winging it.

Really these should be considered a starting point for crazy mods that you would not want to do to the real thing, or a passable alternative to things priced at the unobtainium point. Expect to have to do some work on it.

Man, I love the feeling that you get from after a good while of having writers block the ideas just start coming. Floodgates have been opened on new riff ideas.

There is reverb in this circuit but its a JFET Orange Matamp emulation plus a reverb that emulate a separate spring reverb head. The reverb is incorporated the same way it is on the Matamp/Orange/OrangeMatamp type heads (passive FX loop before the phase inverter)

I did make up a 4/5 knob reverb idea as well that was not related to this but honestly not sure if I would pursue it.

good stuff, s this the one you just posted on FB in a more complete state? Looks amazing.

Nice conkers. I think for me it's more an issue of overall motivation. If I'm feeling it or not. I can always write, just depends on if it's any good or just shite.

turns out when I requested no gibson stuff on the headstock, they just painted over it.

Dudes. Talk to me about the Fuzzhugger Algal Bloom. Sounds like something in the fuzz face camp, but able to cover a ton of ground from the clips I've heard. Any opinions for dem riffs?

Picked up a new Magick Fuzz recently, as I hadn't owned one before, just borrowed one for recording demo tracks previously. I made a quick demo with it on guitar and bass. Juiced up one track with a Joyo Ultimate Drive running into it to push it even harder and tighten it up. Monstrous Muff variant, I'm loving it.

Magick makes a rad ass fuzz.

Algal bloom is also great! I have one that doesn't get used but it'd be a great stand alone sweet sounding fuzz, was very smooth in my setup. It didn't defeat the Pharaoh, but that's just for what I am currently doing. I'm not selling it, that's for sure. Personally I' really like to get my mits on a Doom Bloom. Now that I think of it, I really should talk to Tom about a custom boxed "Death Blossom" (Death Blossom is something we did when IED'd or receiving fire from an unknown area. Not really proud of the tactic but it's a rad ass name.)

Chinese Diamond inlay is out, brass egyptian carved me weirdness diamond is currently setting in epoxy. Couldn't deal with the fakey diamond that looked retarded after I started removing material. I'm pretty stoked on the brass idea, hopefully it turns out decent.

Sounds awesome. Not as huge-sounding as Pharaoh/other muffs but such a fantastic, versatile textural tool and can still get quite heavy.
