I'm playing New Vegas and it's just bringing back memories of the stuff I disliked about Fallout 3/Oblivion With Guns.
VATS is still awesome and I still don't like combat outside of it, feels too clunky. Sneaking blows after having played Far Cry 3.

I suck at fighting games so nope. The last fighting game I really enjoyed was Soulcalibur 2... released in 2003.

Yeah I hate hate hate the sneaking in Bethesda games. All based on the numbers and nothing to do with your skill as a player.

Disagree about VATS though, I hated it. Don't get me wrong, I didn't like the first person combat that much and I'd like nothing more than a return to old school fallout combat but VATS just feels like cheating when I'm playing a 1st person game and also it sucks.

I loved soul calibur 2! I had it for gamecube though

i used to be fighters all day every day. Tekken was the most complete and fun janger evah.

i just can't get into them anymore. i dunno if it's the knowledge that i will NEVER stand right next to somebody and talk shit into their ear as there's a line of quarters of people i will DESTROY NEXT. but i can play through the first person a bit, get bored, then have zero interest in playing online with random peoples.

I grew up with Spawn...so, yes.

and I never cared for the Zelda games....guess I'm a weirdo.

SC2 is the best one! There was a time when I went through the "story mode" thing on both difficulties, got all the weapons, unlocked all the characters...I tried it again last year and got my ass handed to me on Normal
Nightmare and Seung Mina all day, son. That sword-chick was always the worst to be up against. Xianhua or something?

I think my favorites were Cervantes (who I was a total boss at), Raphael (super cheap) and Talim. Yeah Xianghua sucked but Taki was the one that really pissed me off, especially in those stupid dungeon levels with the ice. She would knock me off every fucking time.

Also is it weird that I used to day dream about Sophitia using one of her throws on me? For some reason getting her crotch all up in my face was a decent price for getting my neck broken. I was a strange teenager.

Nah man. That model viewer with the jumping animation was there for a reason. And that character art.
