lol. i'm kinda the same. i checked the features and looks like a helluva sequencer.
i just. can't.

Don take out the Quadratt! Especially for drone stuff you can use it for mixing and fading in/out modulation so easily.
Quadratt is staying. The passive SSF Quad Atten will be out until I need it.

I personally love the uniqueness of the buttons... it's like playing an arcade game... love all the lights on it too. Mainly i'm just stoked to have 4 channels of 64 step sequencing in one module with outputs for pitch and gate on each one and ability to clock each channel differently... and that's just scratching the surface. The pitch control on this is fantastic.

I use one! I don't really like the sequencer in it, but it's super easy to use & the keys themselves feel pretty good for the price. You can get pretty deep with the editing if you're into that.

lol. i am NOT. i'm pretty set it, get it working, then forget it.
but good to KNOW. OPTIONS. USEFUL.
with the BSP, i had to go into the software and change the octave like 2 lower to be the right range with modular. was that a concern for you?
lol. and the BSP needed to be clocked at 4x from the Pam's to stay right tempo. odd, but no bigs. i go into stuff like the Mito at 4x so fastest is RUSH SPEEDS.

You choose the sync speed with the Keystep (Idk about that x4, but you choose between x1 and x2 for syncing with Korg stuffs). I've never had to mess with that kind of thing, the middle octave seems to be perfect as is. You have to have the modules tuned down super low but that's par for the course when your tune knob is just an offset for the 1v/8 input.

i think it might have needed a 4x because it was a gate out (was using the Pam's expander), so with high low 1 was hitting at 0.5? i think?
good to know about octaves. coming from Guitar Center, so with coupons was butt cheap, but they ship FedEx/UPS ground, so shizz takes foreverrrrr. should be here end of week, early next?

Had a quick play on the Zetaohm FLXS1 at lunch and immediately surprised how easy it is to use. Not a deep diving menu.. just well laid out. My biggest thing is sequencing pitch and I love how easy it is to choose a key and scale and then only the notes within that scale are immediately accessible making it super fast to create melodies. So easy to make one and then use the same key and settings on another channel but much lower octave and you have your bass and lead line going. Very easy to set the swing, length of note, ties and rests (which was a big one for me).... and all of that was just the pitch. Besides the gate outputs it also has 4 modulation outputs for sequenced LFOs + envelope generators, etc etc. oh and Per-step arpeggio settings! I want to leave work and go spend the day with this thing.
For my use this is instantly light years better than the Varigate and Voltage Block which i just haven't bonded with. May off those now....

They're cut to fit the shape of the face plate so i doubt it
I figured you'd be all about the aesthetics on this one... IT'S LIKE I DON'T EVEN KNOW YOU!

You will like it and you will like liking it dammit!

It definitely sticks out from the rest of my modules but i like that about it. It's fun looking and the lights are killer. It's going to look perfect next to the Scion too.

Really though, functionality on this is
