I don't get ring mods.
Like some other effects that I can't remember specifically right now, it's like "well what the fuck do I do with this?".
Maybe they are more useful on higher-pitched janks.

I've wanted a ring mod for the longest time, just because it's the craziest/coolest type of effect I've ever seen. I think it was when I saw this:
*mmmmkay I couldn't find the video , it had some crazy homemade synthy-ring mod thing that looked like it was housed in a metal salad bowl flipped upside-down*

I'm not 100% how that lead me to wanting a ring mod, but it's frackin' sweet.

Confession 1: I managed to understand that I don't need to read the whole of the internet.

Confession 2: I really dreamed about having a board that was basically filled with SS/BS stuff. I had like 15 or so and multiples too. They all looked like that custom order Brian had done of a TAFM, a Y4545 and something else all in yellow and blue stripes. Mine were in a brownish and red or pink and maybe some yellow too, but still. I have dreamt about owning pedals. I woke up so ashamed. But I trust you guys will understand.

(In my dream I knew the differences between the three. There were tiny differences - each had it's stronger and weaker points. Maybe I woke up ashamed because it was a corksniffers dream and thus not worthy of the savage love for fuzzy goodness.)

I dunno, I could see having more than one sparkle motion being useful, I really do use mine for at least 3 things all the time and HAVE thought about it. I guess that's a confession. I think the real sin is wanting more than one of a pedal that isn't even insane, just nice sounding.
