669 is such an awesome noise maker and processor. The modulated awesomeness and dirt sounds are just so freaking awesome. +all the cv control...totally awesome.

I got to play one of these yesterday and really dug it. The neck profile is chunky which I havent found on a lot of short scales, and I liked it a whole lot. The pickups were hot and pretty dark, not what I usually go for, but they sounded so thick. Not that I'll get one any time soon, but it'll be in the back of my mind for a while now.

Ha, I doubt it. I wish though.

You don't see the Bartell stuff that often, the production levels were low.

There's a shorty Squier tele bass on ROC craigslist right now and I bet that neck is pretty chunky. I keep trying to tell myself I don't need it...
