Good morning, fuzz lovers!

What's everyone listening to today? I was listening to Dopethrone's "III", but I've moved onto some Dopelord.

Today I'm listening to Rwake's 2011 album, the new Kowloon Walled City record, and also a new band I found through a ilovefuzzer called Pedro The Lion.

i've listened to all your releases under Savage Cross, they're all pretty short so i've listened to all of them in a row several times over the past few weeks.

also Llihje, Immaculate, Baren Cavity... that intro was just so fucking good. it's exactly that kind of epic, ethereal touch i like my music to have when i write something. still not used to the clipping on that one, but i'm sure i'll get over it.

I got to see Deafhaeven last night play with Sannhet, Clean Teeth, and Theologian. It was Sennhet's release party and they had an awesome light show. Clean Teeth was cool, kinda like a sludgy punk sound. Theologian was a drone/doom band. But Deafhaeven played their mogwai cover followed by a new song off their upcoming album. So a pretty good night. Check out the cover:

Awesome. Yeah, the Llihje clipping irks me a little bit, I just mastered it too high. I've been thinking of remastering it with less clipping. I think it's the way I EQ'd the kick drum

Ah! I'd love to catch Theologian sometime. Was it just Leech doing solod drone? Or did he have other dudes with him?

could be a good idea. thing is when the kick drum hits at times it's like my internet connection is failing a bit, or playing a videogame at a really low frame rate :p i like the sound of it, but it just demolishes everything else in it's path while sounding like that. also the cymbals when things start speeding up.

He had a drummer and another dude on synths with him. It was pretty cool and they had a projection behind them too.
